As it was during the heat wave in the Uk we looked for a hotel that offered air-conditioning in the rooms so we picked this hotel for our stay . On checking in we found that the aircon did not work and asked to be moved to a room that had a working unit which they said they had none and then we asked for them to get maintenance to have a look or at least reset the unit of which neither of them could be done , one would expect that they would have at least got some around the next day to have look unless they knew before hand that it did not work and it was not repairable but still sold us the room with “ air-conditioning . This really spoilt the trip for us as we where unable to sleep as the heat in the room was unbearable and with the windows only being able to open only two inches made it impossible to cool the room down . They did offer us one complementary drink each but considering the heat of the room maybe a lot more should have been given.

Beach view and patio

Room was not accessible room. Could not open wheelchair; ,wife had to get out to fold up and not fit for purpose. Could not take suitcase in room as no room to open on stand. Only 1 bedside table which was tilted between bed and wall as items slid off. No room around the bed and difficult for disabled and able bodied guests to get in bed. Fire alarm went off 3 times causing worry as lift not then available and we were on 4th floor with a disabled guest..TV did not work (cables hung down}.

Great location, good standard of accommodation and consistently excellent staff. All staff we interacted with at check in and at breakfast were professional, well trained and very friendly :)

Fantastic stay at the Imperial Hotel, Tenby. Staff amazing and so considerate of us and our dog. Going to book our next stay ASAP

Everything was fine. Staff were pleasant and eager to please. Food was good although the choice of food for the evening meal was limited. The room was clean and comfortable with a good beach view. Seagulls were a bonus landing on the window ledge!!

The room was very small and no small fridge, it was cramped and difficult to move around, we were charged for the room by the hotel.com web site and again by the hotel it was very annoying won’t be staying there again.

Very nice welcome, very friendly Staff,We were upgraded to very lovely room with great view out over the beach to Caldy Island. We didn't eat in the Hotel , the room package that we chose didn't include breakfast and we didn't see any detailed dining menus. We had a very nice two night break.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, fantastic view towards the sea/beach, did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment, however thought breakfast was a bit expensive! Initially issue with our bedroom not being up to standard but resolved immediately and complimentary drinks given for inconvenience! In general some communal areas need attention.

Staff were all incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Food was excellent especially Pembrokeshire Chowder

The air conditioning wasn't working and the bed smelled of sweat. I don't recommend the fourth floor, as the rooms are low and small.

Great central location, and stunning sea views from the restaurant and terrace area. Perfect location to walk to the beach or into town. Our room was clean and comfortable but very small, and sadly quite noisy. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel, where they have some sort of fan machine running and you could hear a lot of noise from the hallway and staircase, which was just outside our door so I’d suggest taking earplugs for sure.

Our second stay at this lovely hotel, the staff are superb and the views from the patio spectacular.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was exceptional, so big and airy. Great size fridge in the room. Superb view.

The room was cleanly made and had simple but tasteful decor. Amenities were sufficient and the staff was responsive when we had to ask for additional supplies. The restaurant downstairs had a magnificent seaview though, so having a meal there would certainly be nice. It definitely is value-for-money, and made for a very nice stay.

Great location. Very small room but perfect for our needs. Recently updated and clean. Lovely terrace and beach views. Staff was wonderful!
