Bathroom door could use replacing, it was an effort to close it securely. The self-moistening toilet cycled for nearly an hour after flushing and was quite loud. Our room came with a complementary bottle of wine corked with no bottle opener provided. We called reception for a bottle opener and it took an hour to arrive, similarly for towels. Complementary breakfast was good but also a little lacklustre, very meat and potatoes. The stay was otherwise very clean, quiet, friendly staff. A short walk to downtown.

I enjoyed my stay at the Monastery Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. John's

The included breakfast was delicious. I suggest you try the breakfast sandwich, it comes with coffee/tea and hashbrowns. The room and bathroom were very spacious and modern. Tv was a little small and seemed far away but that’s because the room was large. Staff were very polite and helpful. They made check in and out very entertaining and enjoyable. There is also ample parking it was our first time staying but will not be our last.

It was clean and beautiful and so relaxing. The bed was so comfy and the jacuzzi in the room was wonderful. The breakfast was incredible and the service was so nice. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Amazing staff and wonderful spa services

The jacuzzi was a interesting experience. I have never had that kind of experience in a room before. Would highly recommend to friends. Room service was great!

Food was excellent and staff are top notch. Management needs to ensure their is an adequate number of staff working in the Bistro in order to accommodate customers.

Great place to stay. Awesome quiet location

Perfect place to stay on a business trip in St-Johns. Not downtown just on the edge of it 5 min drive but only 12 min from the major Industrial area of Mount Pearl and Paradise. Nice quiet the Bistro is perfect for breakfast and answering emails and plan your day. Room services free parking

It was a beautiful space, the staff were polite and prompt, the jacuzzi was awesome. I couldn’t sit in the small chairs they had in the room

Breakfast was the best! Staff attentive. Mattress was not the most comfortable, felt like it was sinking. May need to be upgraded.
