The hotel is the perfect location for catching the Blue Star Ferry at the port. It is a cheap hotel room with a Tv, air conditioning, and a few windows. The room could be cleaner for sure but was super easy to check in and out.

After reading the other reviews, I was a bit worried about my stay. But, as I just needed a good sleep after a long ferry ride, and an early morning flight, this place was fine. It was an ideal location for catching the metro to the airport and for arriving late from the ferry. Sheets were clean, shower had great pressure, the staff person was helpful and stayed at the front desk all night. It was just what I needed for a quick one night stay.

We stayed at Ion Hotel for one night before our cruise and it was a great choice. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute walk from the metro with a direct connection from the airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. If you’re heading to cruise terminal B or C, as we were, I recommend taking an Uber. One tip: bring an adapter, since the room only has European plugs and no USB ports. Nothing fancy, but just what you need for a night.

I was there for one night to catch and early ferry. It got the job done and the guys working the front desk were nice.

I stayed here for 1 night to have a place before our cruise that left the next day. When we got there the female who checked us in was very kind and warming with her greeting. Unfortunately the stay only got worse from that moment on. Not only did our entire room and bathroom smell like an ash tray, the air conditioning unit did not work at all. Also we were woken up at around 3 in the morning to the male who was working the overnight shift talking, laughing, and yelling at what seemed to be the top of his lungs to his friends for about 45 minutes straight. Could not sleep through that noise, plus the added heat in the room due to no air conditioning working, and the smell of week old ash tray filling the room. At one point we even contemplated just going straight to the dock and just sleeping in the transfer area. This was by the far the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had and will never recommend anyone to stay here again.

This is the worst hole in the wall, which can't be called a hotel. Not even a hostel. Don't repeat my mistake, don't stay her.

It’s about what I expected, in the 5-6 range. Small room that was in need of some maintenance, but very close to the port and the Metro, so very useful. If you are picky or sensitive, it may not be for you. If you just need a quick place to go for a night, it should be fine.

Very unclean place, rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. Avoid this place if you can.

We wanted a place near the ferry port in Pireaus. There were several mid-range cost options in the area. This place was convenient but the beds were wobbly, the hurricane shutters over the windows wouldn’t raise, doors slammed in the night (apparently from the old-fashioned elevator) repeatedly, no glasses were provided, and the desk staff was uniformly unhelpful. The shower worked but difficult to operate. The air conditioner worked well, as did the TV. Overall I think we could have done better in that price range in the area.

Pros: -very short walk to the port for my ferry - wifi free and fast - private room and private bath for cost of a hostel Cons: - the sheet provided for the bed was still damp and made the mattress wet underneath, no mattress protecter, just one flat sheet covering it and a damp one folded on top, I found a blanket in the cabinet but I doubt they are washed between guests The bathroom was rough, mold all over the shower curtain, the shower dripped all night, and the toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet. Smelled like cigarettes constantly, even with the window open

I have to say that this place is quite bad to stay in. However, we can still make do with it given the price paid is very cheap and to just stay for one night and it is just a street away from the jetty. We reach quite late at night, left very early morning the next day to catch the ferry. The aircon is not working but glad that they have thick blanket. There is no bathroom amenities. There were 3 of us but the hot water became cold water after just 2 bathes.

This may be the dirtiest, nastiest worst place I have ever stayed. Absolutely disgusting. Never felt safe or comfortable at any point. Next time I'll sleep with the homeless guys outside, they looked better off.

We were taking a ferry to Santorini and the hotel is very close to port. Excellent location, restaurant waterfeont, beach close by.
