Good, clean accommodation close to Trent Bridge cricket ground and the Trent Bridge Inn. I reluctantly emailed my passport photo to prove my identity. The only issue I had.

clean. Basic but that was all we needed. Convenient location

Positives: room was clean and there was a range of tea and coffee. Shared kitchen was well equipped and clean. Bed was comfortable. Near the football and cricket grounds. Restaurants within walking distance (not Nottingham but West Bridgford) Negatives: our en-suite had a macerator and smelled strongly of drains. This has been covered up on our arrival with a smell of incense. The toilet worked but it shouldn’t have smelled like that. No response from host whatsoever. Parking limited- we had to park on the street opposite one night as no spaces available.

Property easy to find/park and get into They sent clear instructions of how to get in Room spacious and clean but the loo did have a mouldy water smell The only other issue was the room was freezing, there were two radiators but no thermostat. Shared kitchen was clean and well stocked

Have stayed here many times and rooms are clean, ideal location. Coffee maker in the shared kitchen and there is also a kettle in the room. The car park used to be very big but is now fenced in and is difficult to park your car if you have a large car. Took my husband over 5 minutes to park and it was a challenge.

We stayed here for 2 nights. I itially we booked for 2 but liked it so stayed another nightbin a diiferent Apartment. The property is literally a stones throw from notts forest football ground and trent bridge cricket ground. Apartment 2 on the ground floor is fabulous with its own kitchenette and spacious lounge. Apartment 14 is on the top floor up a fairly narrow staircase which can take a bit of effort if you have breathing difficulties , dodgy knees or cannot lift for any length of time. But we managed ok and im 63. There are plenty of places in the area for food, drink and "corner shop: supplies. Its also easy to get to the city centre. We walked it in about half an hour. But there are also regular buses. Theres also dedicated parking which is big plus for us. It can be a bit noisy due to road traffic, especially if you like to open the windows but there are far more positives. Apartments are clean and light and i would happily stay here again

Good location very clean comfortable but basic. We were on the top floor so a lot of stairs - wouldn't work for anyone with mobility issues. I think being on the top floor meant it was quiet and no real road traffic noise. The property is on a busy main road. Parking is available but tight if you end up at the far end. Room was warm beds comfortable and bedding good.

Very clean and comfortable but horrendous noise outside room 10 from some kind of motor/pump kicking in every 5mins! Unsure how many other rooms affected. Unable to sleep even with ear plugs. Needs addressing.

The only problem we had with the room was it was freezing! It was warmer out in the hall

The main photo they use to advertise the River Rooms is not the actual building you stay in. Photos are misleading. The rooms are basic, but very clean. Ideally situated next to the football stadium for footy fans. Showers have broken pieces and black mould which needs addressing. Although they say plenty of parking, check in was 3pm and at 3.10 pm there was no parking left. This needs attention.

Clean room, ample heating, good soundproofing, efficient entry system.

Clean room, but quite cold. Bathroom needs updating, cracked tiles and shower not letting water run away quickly enough. Room very close to main road, so quite noisy, and was also woke up around 3.30am by guests arriving back unaware of how to use key code door entry.

Room is fine - has hostel vibes and basic but clean and comfortable enough. Had issues checking in. Hadn’t received codes at 1300 on the day after sending ID 24 hours before. Replied to the text message from the day before, messaged in the hotels.com app, no reply. Tried calling hotel at 1700 when I was outside, no answer but had another random text to say they were in a meeting and how could they help. Took a further 25 mins to resolve and receive check in codes.

Great location for the football stadium and easy access to the city centre by bus. The top floor triple room was spacious and clean.

Comfortable clean quiet. Only issue was parking. No space for me!

I did not manage to check in, as the code was not sent to me (even though I had paid the deposit prior to the day of arrival, a deposit that was initially falsely stated as double the amount of the night booked), and could not reach the manager by any means for a while. It was freezing cold and rained.

The apartments were excellent! Well kept, comfortable and in an ideal location. The facilities were excellent and we were lucky enough to have one with adjoining rooms. My only criticism was the parking. We were led to believe there would be enough free parking for residents but when we got there there was no room. This led us to having to find parking in Nottingham overnight at very short notice. So just come with a contingency plan for parking.

A good room for the price and its location. Clean and looked after. The property has a dorm room feel to it. Only issue was the parking, all allocated spots were taken up and its not clear if you're able to use neighbouring areas. Would have liked extra pillows as there was only one each. The hosts request photo ID via an email not thru Hotels.com contrary to Hotels.com saying every communication goes thru them. Please check with Hotels.com beforehand.

The bathroom floor tile had a decent crack that needs repairing and the shower tray kept filling up due to unblocked waste pipe. Other than that all good and will likely stay there again
