Excellent room, staff friendly, professional and courteous. Restaurant very good. Breakfast was very good but slow service.

The accommodation was good: easy check in/check out, comfortable room and very clean. However, there was a severe problem with the restaurant. I had pre-booked for dinner and advised that my husband was coeliac with a strong allergy to gluten. On ordering, the tablet was duly produced showing suitable dishes but no account had been taken of cooking methods. On questioning these we discovered there was no dedicated deep fat fryer, thus obviating any such dishes listed as GF options - a fact not taken into consideration. Cross contamination is as equally important as gluten-containing ingredients. The manager then owned up to the fact the tablet was wrong and they were trying to have it corrected, which is simply not acceptable. Staff training is urgently required before you have a serious health issue. It was fortunate we had asked, as my husband would have been extremely ill.  This obviously put a damper on our stay which was a birthday treat. We didn't risk breakfast. We are not seeking recompense, nor would we risk another stay, but wish to advise you of the serious issue for the safety of other guests with food allergens. As this hotel is part of a group, this omission is clearly a corporate issue.

Hotel is clean, staff very attentive, bed very comfortable and bathroom clean. Very good breakfast, actually too much if you have the full English. Hotel is a little tired in places, but provides excellent value for money. If, like us ypu only use a hotel to sleep, I would highly recommend this place. A little way outside the town centre, about a 25 min walk, which is reflected in the excellent value for money. Hotel has a large car park

Everything was very good.

Spotless rooms, great staff, good food and very comfortable areas around the whole hotel and outside.

Hair in the bedroom, unclean, had to move rooms prior to this due to noise in the hall with equally door.

Food excellent .Room Was comfortable. Bed was very comfortable! Definitely worth a couple of nights stay if your im Sussex!

This was good basic 3 star accommodation. Room was large with comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Dog allowed to stay in room which had easy access to garden.

Great food and friendly staff. Dog friendly and nice rural location with with views of fields from bedroom. Rooms comfortable but bathroom could do with tiling/wall cleaning.

Staff friendly & very helpful. Plenty of parking.Spacious room Comfortable bed. The housekeeping let everyone down. Dirty tea stained teaspoons. Dubious spots on the duvet cover, and footend runner which had never been ironed. It rained that night and the rain- gutter outside the window of room 4 is obviously bocked so the resulting noise of overflow made for a disturbed nights sleep

Great location for Arundel. Wide choice of options for breakfast. All cooked food was excellent. Staff, particularly reception, were friendly and helpful. Only downside to our stay and the hotel was the abysmal WiFi. It was continually dropping out. We did query this with the hotel but no solution was found.

My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.
