This hotel is definitely a hidden gem. Nestled up against gorgeous cliffs and overlooking a valley, the property is immaculately maintained and couldn't be any more picturesque. We had an excellent prix fix menu dinner at their dining room and everything was prepared excellently, with a decent wine and beer selection. And there's is a friendly dog that will chaperone you around the grounds. We were only there for one night as we were passing through the area, but we wished we could have spent several days here!

Lovely stay! Room was nice (albeit no coffee) but staff were so friendly and our food in the evening was delicious Also our waiter was just adorable 😊 This was one of our random stopovers on the way to Andorra. Such a treat and I would stay again in a heart beat

What a fantastic setting for a hotel. If you like to be out in the countryside this is the hotel for you as there is nothing near the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. The buffet breakfast outside is great and the pool a lovely relaxing area. There are some lovely walks in the area.

Very nice and quite fancy. I needed some medical attention and the staff was very helpful and even made a doctor's appt. for me. Since I did not speak the language and was not in good shape I was very appreciative. We would definitely stay there again!

This place is a resort style hotel. It has everything you want pool, tennis court, amazing views and hiking. The one thing I would like to point out is the food which in my opinion...amazing!! Get away from the main tourist spots of Spain and stay in the country side where you can experience the un spoilt culture due to tourism.

The hotel was charming in a beautiful location and the food and service was superb. The hotel has been owned by one family for 10 generations and it showed in the friendly service and high comfort level. The Comfort, Valley Room room was spacious with a modern bathroom and good amenities. The view from the public areas, (deck, lounge, dining room) is spectacular and there are beautiful bush walks behind the hotel. Secure parking is available on-site. The food and service is 5 star quality. Best hotel we have stayed in and at a reasonable price in Spain.

Stunning location against the limestone cliffs. Lovely pool area. Well kept gardens and grounds. Delicious, high quality breakfast. Friendly staff. Room and furniture could use a little upgrade.

We stayed overnight on our way north and wished we had booked for longer. The hotel is charming and the surrounding area beautiful. We had a superb meal in the restaurant and also enjoyed a comprehensive breakfast. We will return for a longer stay.

This hotel is remotely located, so if you like the bustle of a town or city this is not for you. As Brits we felt a little down the pecking order in terms of customer service, but the staff were polite even though they struggled with English - to be fair, our Catalan wasn't great! The hotel is very clean and tidy, but could benefit from the furnishings been updated. Dinner in the restaurant was badged as haut cuisine and every expensive, so we only ate there once, once on the terrace (slightly cheaper and more down to earth menu) and therefore ate elsewhere when we could. Breakfast was good however, and all ingredients fresh and well presented. Meal times run on the Catalan timetable, so if you get hungry in the early evening, there is a drought of food availability until 8:30 when they start serving. The backdrop of the mountains and the wildlife was utterly stunning however and for this reason alone I would recommend it. The swimming pool was cool and well maintained with a life guard on hand all the time it is open. Overall the venue provides a very quiet and sedate environment for relaxation and reconnection to nature. Unfortunately our bed wasn't very comfortable but as I say, I feel the hotel decor and furnishings could be updated to give a more modern sophisticated feel.

We booked the hotel "blind" with only the Expedia website information. What a pleasant surprise to find a five star hotel in the country at such a reasonable price.
