I stayed at this hotel and would like to file a complaint regarding the following:
There was an incident in the parking area where another vehicle parked in a space designated for disabled guests. The hotel’s security officer claimed he could not do anything because he had verified that the license plate did not correspond to a registered guest. He was asked to review the security cameras in order to identify the person who was blocking the exit of our vehicle, but he stated that he did not have access to the cameras.
The incident was escalated to the receptionist on duty, who responded that we would have to wait until the following day to review the camera footage. As no solution was provided, she was asked to contact the hotel manager. She did so, and informed us that the manager was busy and would not come to resolve the issue. She offered to provide us with a taxi, which we declined.
A phone call was then made directly to the manager, demanding that a solution be provided. Eventually, the police arrived. The situation was explained to them, and they spoke with the vehicle’s owner, who showed signs of having consumed alcohol. At the request of the police, he removed the vehicle. However, the police did not take any action against the driver for parking in a prohibited area. The manager later attempted to deny statements he had previously made.
The receptionist failed to properly escalate the issue, and the security officer did not ensure that the disabled parking space was used appropriately; instead, he attempted to downplay and cover up the incident.
I will definitely not return to this hotel due to the overall lack of empathy from the staff and their inability to properly manage incidents. This situation, in addition to other issues such as poor internet connectivity and deficiencies in the assigned room, made the experience highly disappointing.
