Beautifully maintained and located hotel. Wonderful rooms and easy parking.

Unfortunately only able to stay for one night but the location was excellent. Staff were very helpful and our room was ready ahead of time. Didn’t eat in the hotel and had to leave early for a pick up at Heathrow so missed breakfast. Visited the bar and had drinks on the terrace which was excellent. Will visit again as soon as we are able!

A nice hotel in a wonderful location next to the river with convenient parking. We had a lovely room with a river view and the breakfast was very nice.

Really beautiful room, with a lovely view of the river from the balcony. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

No gym, good breakfast individually served. Small rooms but clean. Food selection was very limited

The hotel is beautifully situated, overlooking the Thames - hard to believe youre in a busy area. Great for visiting Richmond. No air conditioning however, and in high summer, in the heat London endures, you don't want to stay here. Staff are good, but there are service charges added for much on the bill, apart from the overall optional service charge. One other thing. Breakfast is £34, £31 if ordered the night before. Dont bother with it. Its not anything special, and its same price for a mediocre continental breakfast OR a mediocre cooked.

A beautifully presented boutique hotel with helpful, professional and friendly staff. All of this added to the enchanting location makes it a place that I highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room with a big balcony and a view! There is no air-con as it is an old hotel so it was very hot during our stay, but it was unseasonably hot outside at the time. There was no mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom which wasn’t ideal for me, and not what I would expect from a high-end hotel. Breakfast was very nice, and was ordered from a menu each morning.

The staff were excellent. Professional . The area you amazing and breakfsat incredible .

Beautiful setting, delicious breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful and everything is beautiful. The only downside is that it has no air conditioning. The temperature outside was 30° and inside the room felt like 40°. They only have this tiny little fans in the rooms that need to be upgrades for what you are paying for staying there. I had to sleep with the windows open to try to cool the room down. It was a bit hard to fall asleep because I was melting. I guess in other time other than summer, the hotel will be perfect.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character and history - plus stunning views over the park from the restaurant. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. My only issue was that my single room was exceptionally hot as there's no air-conditioning and limited breeze coming off the courtyard. I was given and fan, which helped, but found the room quite uncomfortable to stay in.

We stayed here for our daughter’s weeding on the hottest 2 nights of the year. The room was like an oven with 1 small fan and 2 small bottles of water (500ml). Totally inadequate for the weather being 32degress. There was no fridge, no air conditioning and no slippers or dressing gowns. Breakfast was extremely expensive at £34 per person per day. So we didn’t bother. I did ask for 2 extra fans which did help the temperature slightly. On the second night there was a power cut which mainly affected our floor. So we couldn’t use our fans and there was no lighting. The reception staff were reluctant to help until I pointed out how dangerous the situation was. We were given 2 1 litre bottles of water, some ice and a small torch.This was the near minimum they could do! Luckily the power was on in approximately 1 hour. At check out we complained to the manageress and got £80 offf the second night stay. It was a poor way to have our daughter’s wedding day end. We did mention that we thought that a hotel of their quality should have air conditioning as standard. When we go to Richmond again we will seek alternative accommodation

A classic hotel with history and superb views from its unique vantage point. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff we saw from reception, housekeeping and restaurant were highly thoughtful and professional.

Staff are fantastic. Always a pleasure to stay here.
