Breakfast was amazing. Location was super convenient. Pool area was lovely with views over the city. In the rooms the bathroom was getting a bit run down and the shower leaked all over the floor but the air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfy. My only complaint was that we could hear the music in the rooftop restaurant in our room quite loudly and they played the same instrumental songs every night.

We were notified the evening before our arrival that there were no rooms available for the first two nights of our stay, although we had booked our trip 3 months in advance and prepaid for the room. We were relocated to another hotel which was lovely but we’re not allowed to stay the final two days at that location even though I offered to pay a difference in price. The front desk staff was extremely unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed and annoyed most of the time. The room was really loud the first night due to a wedding that had disco music until 1am. When I asked for late check out because of the inconvenience of moving hotels on the second day I was denied. The pool area was overcrowded and looks like it needs maintenance. The dining room staff was lovely and we enjoyed the fresh fruit. I would NOT recommend staying here.

After booking this accommodation 12 months out with confirmation, we were sent an email while waiting to board our flight to say the hotel was overbooked and our reservation was cancelled. Followed by a stressful few hours on broken internet connection scrambling for accommodation. We were forced to settle for a hotel out of the Casco Viejo area, separated from our friends and could not enjoy our experience wandering the streets soaking up the atmosphere. Not sure what the cancellation policy is but a booking made 12 months ago should be honoured over more recent bookings. Could not recommend this hotel for leaving our cancellation notice until last minute. They of course were apologetic and understood our frustration but that felt hollow with our extreme disappointment. I’m sure the hotel is fantastic but our experience was quite different.

Water runs out from shower onto floor causing a slip and fall. This Hotel is far from a 5 * a hwy motel 6 is better. Roaches in wardrobe. We showed Alfredo the video who could care less. Alfredo in Front Desk is not a representative of what you’re advertising. Please give him a tie.

Our room window looked directly into a restaurant on the top floor. Room was smaller than the one I booked. And the AC was so loud it actually vibrated my pillow all night.

The staff was great an the hotel

Much more than I expected. The front desk guy at check in answered all our questions and when we explained we were serious food people sent us to the best restaurant in town. We never ate anywhere else. Great location. More affordable and better than the surrounding “ blg deal” hotels. Stay there.

Room was amazing, beautiful hotel in the center of town. Service also very good and attentive. Amazing breakfast.

Breakfast is continental buffet and AMAZING. The fruit, the many options, the omelettes, truly delicious. The room was spotless, the location more than convenient to walk and explore Casco Viejo, the staff was very kind and helpful. The only downside is that the room we needed (family) was ready a bit after check in time (3:20 pm instead of 3 pm). I would stay again here.

The employees were the best of all our hotels. They were so friendly. Super helpful booking reservations, guiding us where to go. The hotel is gorgeous. We felt like we were boarding the titanic with all the beautiful wooden stairs and piano playing! Loved all the live music. Every single employee was so friendly. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Didn’t eat the breakfast bc we were only here one day, but it looked and smelled delicious. Room was nice and clean, but one of the beds felt like the frame or box spring was broken bc my husband and I both rolled to the center! We ended up putting our kids in that bed and it was ok for them.

The beds and bedding were bad. The duvet wasn’t clean, the pillows overstuffed and hard and the bed was squeaky. I’d say the beds were a 2 star hotel level.

Beautiful historic property situated on the main square of the historic zone. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Great food in all three restaurants.
