Initially apprehensive as hotel frontage not particularly inviting Also next to “ dubious looking” convenience store Also disappointed that only parking was on street or municipal car park Once inside pleased to see things improved Accomodation fine Menu in restaurant had good selection and quality of food good Breakfast was comprehensive Unfortunately it appeared everything had been fried instead of being grilled resulting in “fat saturation” Over place fine and would return

Hotel was clean and warm with lovely decor, seemed to have been recently decorated. Staff service at breakfast was superb , as was the food from the varied menu. It was also great that they encouraged us to bring takeaway back to the lounge when their own restaurant is not serving - a good way to support neighbouring businesses.

We had a lovely stay at the Alyth Hotel! The both dinner and breakfast served at the restaurant was amazing and the room was well decorated and comfy.

What a lovely hotel, with such character and charm. A warm welcome from friendly staff, great food, comfortable and stylish bedrooms, and a superb location in beautiful Alyth. The period furniture and restored features add a distinctive touch of class and understated elegance. I could not rate this hotel more highly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Just a great stay, it was a treat to stay here, not one fault

We ere plessantly durprised to find the hotel refurbished to a high standard. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast menu was extensive and good quality food. Dinner menu had plenty of choice and the food was 5 star. Prices good too. A variety of local shops nearby with a friendly community shop and a nice cafe in the square. We sre golfers so a perfect location for our favourite golf courses. We'll certainly be back but will book direct as this was much cheaper.
