The hotel is located near Morioka's downtown area and within walking distance of Morioka Station.
The building is old, but it's maintained to a minimum standard, and is perfectly acceptable if you're not looking for anything too luxurious. Amenities are standard, and pajamas are provided.
The room isn't spacious, but it's not so cramped that it's a problem. There's a refrigerator.
The shower pressure isn't particularly high, but the bathtub isn't small. Drainage is fine.
The breakfast has a wide variety, but I felt that only a limited number of items were particularly delicious. The curry and local hot pot, recommended by the hotel, were tasty. Natto and onsen tamago (soft-boiled egg) were also decent.
Other menu items, such as grilled fish and thick omelets, were rather disappointing. There's also soba noodles, but they weren't very good.
I think the combination of curry, local hot pot, natto, onsen tamago, and a salad (if you have room) is the most satisfying. You can take a cup of coffee back to your room, and this coffee is also delicious.
Considering the price, it was a very satisfying hotel.
