From check in to check out, our 3 night weekend stay at the Ruskin was perfect. All staff were really friendly and very helpful. All food and drink provided, breakfast and bar snacks were delicious with great choices and again served "with friendly and genuine smiles". The standard twin room was perfectly adequate, with all you need and comfortable mattresses for great sleeps too. Efficient lifts to our second floor room. Will hopefully be returning, maybe even later this year. Highly recommend this centrally located hotel, just a short walk to the theatres, town and shops.

Everything was amazing the only slite conplaint was the bath the bath was extremely slippy got in bath 2 have shower and it was slippy so decided it would b better 2 have a bath but i struggled getting out off it there wasn't any grab rails so got hubby 2 help me was getting in a panic as i had a new hip in sept ladt year so didnt want 2 do any damage

Staff was very helpful

My room was too close to the entertainment hall, and every night I heard very loud music. It was very bothering

It is a wonderful hotel. All areas on the ground floor, reception, lounge, bar were exceptionally furnished with comfort and luxurious design. The cabaret lounge was very spacious and the entertainment was first class. The food was amazing...presentation is quite gourmet standard with a taste to match..Staff are brilliant and helpful with a smile at all times..The bedrooms are very well designed.. ..beds and pillows are so comfortable..Beautiful white towels in shower room..Tea & Coffee plentiful...stayed here with 7 friends and will definitely return

Staff were excellant, couldn't do enough for us. Room was lovely and clean and housekeeping were in every day. Entertainmant which was on nightly was amazing also. We will defonately be visiting again.

From start to finish hotel was excellent from staff cleanliness facilities food atmosphere night time cabaret bingo hotel had it all maybe a teensy Weensy reduction in bar prices other than that all excellent as per usual

All food selections excellent . Dinner and breakfast choices were very good. Staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. Entertainment was fun and bingo break our mum enjoyed very much. From bar staff to room service staff we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return 😍

Having stayed at Ruskin many times over past few decades I find the cleanliness and staff service always to a good standard- rooms are cleaned each day. There has been a rise in bar prices however my concern is the breakfast is not of the quality I previously experienced. Whilst the layout is good with various choice of cooked or cold foods I found there has been a decline in the quality of the produce served with hot breakfast
