Lovely traditional pub, great food, great base to explore the area

Clean good breakfast nice people quaint old pub good dinners in nice atmosphere. Interesting menu but a bit pricy. Bit of a hill to climb from lower units

Lovely staff, excellent restaurant and pub. Unfortunately, my room (The Periwinkle Room) had a not so good smell. Combined with no air-conditioning it made my stay fairly unpleasant and it was very hot inside the room. There is a fan located high attached to the wall but it really didn’t help much at all.

Place was so good we stayed an e tra night.

Breakfast was delicious and service was great. The reception staff were super helpful and really friendly. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Unfortunately we came may bank holiday where we had over 30 degree heat. The wall fan wasn't enough to keep the room very cool and it had a thick duvet. The reception kindly arranged to cool the room down for us before checking However there wasn't much that could be done without AC and a thin sheet , However I appreciate that it was an abnormaly hot day and 9/10 times wouldn't be a problem x

Handy stop off on our way to Le Shuttle. We’ve stayed before and love the pub. Lovely beer garden, great staff and delicious food. Room for three of us was adequate but smell of drains in the bathroom was not nice unfortunately

Great atmosphere, helpful staff, good food and comfortable room. All you need for a solo business traveller . Plus a charging point , a great find, will stop again.

Good food in the pub for evening meal and quiet comfortable room. Only had fruit, yoghurt and poached eggs for breakfast but it was good and menu looked comprehensive

Very good experience overall. The staff were very helpful, for example providing a fridge for our baby's milk and helping sterilise his dummies. We had dinner in the lovely historic pub, very nice food. Would definitely stay here again.

Pub is great, food pretty good but hugh price. Good breakfast. Rooms average and cole due to electric heating. Ev charger wasnt working during my stay unfortunate and disappointing becauae that was main reason for booking there

Super spacious accommodation in external rooms with ample parking. The pub food is exceptionally good. High quality products in bathroom and huge fluffy white towels.
