This was a bucket list experience. The location could not be beat, right in the heart of the old town. Sitting on our balcony watching the day unfold over Lake Maggiore and the Ascona promenade was incredibly beautiful. The staff were excellent and accommodated all of our needs and requests. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have spent a much longer time if our schedule allowed. Thank you Hotel Elevezia Ascona for a perfect stay!!

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We only stayed one night and had no complaints except that the bell tower was ringing once every hour through the night. Seems like this is not normal and due to some renovations happening. Overall, the hotel is very close to the waterfront, many restaurants and the views are beautiful.

Had a good experience at the hotel. Very good location renting to the pedestrian street in front of the lake. Lobby is small and uninviting but the room was spacious and clean. Great view of the lake.

The room was large with a beautiful biew over Lake Maggiore. Plenty of eateries around (expensive) COOP 8 min walk away near the bus stop. Ferry stop nearby. The room was hot even with the window open and fan on at night but with temp at 30C+ not unbearable.

Amazing location directly on the Lake Promenade of Ascona with a lot of live music, restaurants, shops, always worth a visit Ascona. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and spacious, great terrace with an eating corner and sun beds, full of plants. The hotel service is extremely friendly and efficient, great breakfast. The only reason why we have not give an excellent ratings was over bed, very old and uncomfortable

Very nice hotel with central location right at the lido; you should definitely take a room with balcony/terrace and seaview - fantastic. We were looking for a nice evening in the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed (Mon-Thurs) and the hotel nor hotels.com mentioned this; no remark on the website either....

The area is great but we were disappointed by the room. Make sure you don’t take the basic room of you want a romantic room: we had a window with no view, one single bed and the other was one you can transform into a closet. The room and the bathroom (that was new) were clean. When we arrived, there was a dead cockroach on the corridor (that stayed there for 2 days). Breakfast by the lake was really good and the sunny terrasse is great in the morning !

Great location, beautiful terrace. Room was okay with a nice shower. However, when we first got to our room it smelled of dirty diapers from a garbage can that wasn't emptied... Not a good welcome, but the rest of the stay was nice.

Great location on the lake side. But this hotel is really difficult to reach by car even using the google-map link on the hotel website. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is no air conditioning so the rooms are extremely warm in summer.

This hotel will be hard to beat for its location right at the promenade in Ascona. We booked a room with Lake view and deck. It’s not very private on the deck but it’s still worth the extra money. The room was very clean and functional. They only provide shower gel in a dispenser. No body lotion or other toiletries. Breakfast was fine, with a nice selection the buffet. No scrambled eggs or bacon. You can however boil your own egg to your liking. The hotel has an American style restaurant which looks somewhat misplaced but you may be tired of Italian food at some stage... who knows...

Uns hat's gefallen. Beim Frühstück wären Tomaten, Gurken, Rührei oder Spiegelei und eine etwas größere Käseauswahl schön.
