Excellent Staff And Really Friendly Locals.

The staff were great and service although the bathroom was tired and the food was good but value for money was not good. Green salad literally a bit of green lettuce in a bowl.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Easy private parking. Good breakfast. Hotel in middle of village with easy access to all shops etc Only criticism is with room - 12. Twin. Very narrow single beds and dim lighting. Main light too low and caught head walking past - only a shade but seems silly to be so low. Also TV obstructs cupboard and is awkward to get past Would stay again but ask for different room

I was staying because of work, but the accommodation was great, the bed was a bit on the hard side but that’s just personal taste, the room was spacious and comfy and there was fresh towels and toiletries provided. Overall my stay was excellent and I would definitely stay again.

Super stay as a half way point from Wimbledon to the coast on bikes with kids. Excellent, spacious family room. Right on the Down’s link. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere on a sunny afternoon. Gastro pub, although we felt that the standard of the food could be improved a little. Overall though an enjoyable stay.

Wondeful hotel, superb staff.

Firstly the bad, we had room 1 and the beds are so small it is difficult to feel secure. The room was freezing and we had to ask for an additional heater. The good ….. all of the staff without exception were friendly knowledgeable and took action when needed. The pub itself is one of our most favorite destinations, especially at this time of year. We have been coming for over 30 years when it wasn’t the Onslow but the Cranleigh pub We will come back but will be very reluctant to occupy room 1
