I'm really wondering if the positive reviews are from people who were paid-off or something. The staff at the front desk/ convenience store downstairs are very nice. (But then I read their responses to negative reviews and it seems that might not be true) And I'd really like to support a family business. But unfortunately, I feel like there is just very little effort and little pride in the cleanliness and niceness of the room. It was really dirty. Kind of reminds me of the quality of cleaning that I might expect from very young children who get distracted and don't do a good job or do the bare minimum. There were stains everywhere including the sheets. The room itself was in very poor condition. I felt like there hasn't even been a bit of maintenance to keep things nicely painted or replace nasty office-type carpet with some laminate, or just plain install a light fixture properly. These are things that a family could do on their own. They wouldn't even have to call a professional in. Anyway, it is depressing and I think it borders on being worse than the worst hostel (Yes, hostel, not hotel) I've stayed in. So yup, no idea why this place has ANY good reviews at all. It really is bad and we feel duped. It has a central location and I walked around town, but it's nothing to write home about.

Location was great and staff were super nice. However, the place itself was unclean (blood stains on sheets, stains on the walls, carpet peeling up, refrigerator not clean), missing basic details (visible wiring connectors on ceiling light, door paint peeling off) and with very basic decor that did nothing to spruce the place up. I also smelled cigarettes inside the building. I wouldn't recommend, sorry.

Great hotel near a lovely square. Very friendly service, nice rooms. I recommend that place....

A small Hotel right in the center of the town. Very reasonable price and excellent location. And a very nice owner!

Would be 4 stars even for the room with no window but breakfast could be improved
