This is always my place to stay in Puente de la Reina. I was recommended by someone on my 1st of four, Camino Frances, due to the quality of the food. So I have stayed here ever since, and the accommodation matches the food quality. On the Camino with 4 or 5 tables outside where you can eat and drink and watch out for your fellow pilgrims. Rooms are roomy with an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

Was noisy but that’s a bit to be expected in those older buildings especially when other people are less considerate. Did the job for the night I was there and the staff were great!

The hotel had history. Love seen furniture decoration from my youth. The room is little but we were able to work with it. The food served in the down stairs restaurant was really good. After walking 15 miles that day we did not want to eat too far.

Excellent stay. I would stay there again. Got to see the entire town and even bull running & food festival. Staff were very helpful.

The room was barely bigger than the bed. It was a tight squeeze to get from the door into the room and difficult to move around the room. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Staff was extremely friendly both at check in and during dining. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Food was amazing specially the 🍅 salad.

Nice little hotel bang in the centre of town. Room was small, but clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the hotel’s restaurant was superb!

Great stay

This is my second stay at this property when walking the camino frances. The food here is excellent, the only reason to give 4 rather than 5 is that whilst a double room had enough space for me with all that one carries, 3 people with rucksacks would be more than a tight squeeze.

Beautiful old building that has tastefully remodeled interior with very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water with good pressure and a nice restaurant at ground floor. Walking up to the church bells next door was a nice touch.

A good place to stay while walking the Camino.

This was our only available option in this city for private accommodation on the Camino. The room was surprisingly small. The chair in the corner under the nightstand wasn’t usable. If pulled out it blocked the bed. I needed it to put my backpack on so had to angle it at the corner of the foot of the bed and could barely squeeze past it. I’m not a big person. My husband wanted to do his pushups in the only usable floor space between the bed and the bathroom. He said it was a bit dusty and dirty on the floor. The bed itself was clean and comfortable. As tight as it was we made it work for us but would rather stay somewhere else if the need to stay in this city ever arose again. It took a while to check in. The woman at the desk seemed overworked doing double duty as desk receptionist and server in the dining room. There was no WiFi in the room and the lobby where WiFi is located had no seating area. It was our weakest stay out of our first 16 days on the Camino.

Very nice property. Old European style with small clean rooms. what we loved was just going downstairs to eat and drink. Thr tomato salad was outstanding. The meat was brought out from their in house aging refrigerator. The lamb chops were great. Biggest plus was the staff. Very nice and helpful. I would go back because the overall experience and ambiance was wonderful

Hotel Bidean is very well located. It is on the main street and close to Puente la Reina. It keeps Camino pilgrim right on the Camino Frances route. There restaurants and a little store near the Hotel. The restaurant was really busy with customers ordering beer and wine. The restaurant also offered some food items. The room was small but it was clean. It had a fan but no air conditioning which made sleeping uncomfortable because it was a warm night. The wifi was better than other places I have stayed during this Camino de Santiago.
