As expected a very basic room, with less then 6 inches gap around each side of the bed. Only space to store baggage is under the bed and there is little space to unpack. Only a single soft pillow is provided which did not provide sufficient head support without doubling over. Room only had one bath towel provided, had to ask for a second when the room was booked for two people Duvent cover had a stain on top, but was otherwise clean. Remains of soap in shower soap dish indicating cleaning was not properly carried out. Low water pressure of shower madeit difficult to use as water flow was too close to taps to be able to get properly under. Hot drinks machine was out of order so had to go outside for drinks. Only redeeming feature is the great Italian restaurant opposite the hotel. Even at the low price, would not stay here again.

I paid for a room with a window the window does not open. Was so hot no air on. The room was not clean stains on the bedding the floor was covered in dust and human hair. You go into the bathroom there was a huge nail sticking out on the floor. Booked 2 people only got 1 towel? The staff behind desk was nice. But will never go back.

Basic means basic. The room lacked space, seriously tight. There's no tea, coffee facilities, no kettle in the room. Proper budget. There was AC which was a positive.

Pleasant stay. Had everything we wanted

Essentially a bed in a box but for the price I wouldn’t expect more. Very clean and good location for the city centre.

Irritating thing is the ac !! It keeps stopping after every 1hr during the day time before 6pm. Its a great initiative to save excess usage and save energy but it’s pretty irritating specially when you are in the room all day! The touch screen device of ac control is bad! Have to press again n again to activate any setting. No mugs no coffee nor tea milk sachets in the room! No telephone as well .. atlst that’s a its a basic thing! Have to come all the way downstairs to have a paid coffee or talk to reception staff. Room Cleaning costs extra charges fair enough at this room price but overall it wasn’t bad but can be definitely much better.

The location is perfect very central. Room very small but you get what you pay for. I would say anyone bigger than a 16 would really struggle to use the shower as the door positioned stupidly and have to squeeze to get in!

Had to change room due to faulty electrics. Our original room was the smallest room I've ever seen for a twin. At the end of the day it's an easyhotel so you get what you pay for. Staff lady was very helpful.

Room was great value for price paid. Main requirement was to sleep and not chill within room for too long. Room was small but very clean with nice shower and hair/body wash to make use of. Window in room was an extra cost. It was covered so you could not see out of it. Overall i would definetely stay again.

We had a room with no window, but that was fine. We only had a one night stay the room was compact but had everything we needed. The room was clean. The staff at reception were very helpful. We were happy with our stay.

Very small rooms, hard to navigate if you’re over 6ft!

It's clean and cheap, perfectly good for a one-night stay. Tiny room with barely enough room to walk around the bed. Funky hooks but no real storage. I've stayed here a couple of times before and I know what to expect. My main gripe on this occasion was how an overnight fire alarm was dealt with. We all traipsed downstairs when the alarm went off, the member of staff on duty told us it was ok, we could all go back to bed but the alarm might go off again. He explained that there was someone live streaming themself "messing around with fire" in their room. Security were in the process of tracking them down and chucking them out. I have no idea what kind of "messing around with fire" we're talking about here, but to me that is not a circumstance in which guests should be sent back to bed and encouraged to ignore the alarm.

I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. We arrived at 9:30pm and were given a room that was not suitable for a family, despite my prior request. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that my message hadn’t even been read. This lack of communication caused immediate issues. I had to book an additional room for the following night so my daughter could have her own space, but she was then unable to check in without me being present, which created unnecessary stress. We were also travelling with a disabled guest, and the parking was a long distance away, which was completely unsuitable. The service was poor throughout. The coffee machine was out of order in the morning, and when I asked about a refund for the rooms due to the issues, I was met with a receptionist who had a very rude and dismissive attitude. I was also surprised to learn that rooms are not cleaned during your stay, which is not clearly communicated and not what I would expect. Due to all of the above, we checked out early (less than 24 hours after arrival) and had to find alternative accommodation. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and poor value for money. I am currently pursuing a refund

Cheap, convenient and spotlessly clean rooms.

The stay was good, but one day I come to the hotel and they had taken all my belongings from my room down to the reception. They could not explain why they had done this, I find that very strange, I was not checking out that day. I find it strange that people can’t say sorry when they have done something wrong, a bit dissapointed about that. Rest of the stay was very good.

Sadly no water glasses in the room. The room was spotless and hotel central. Unfortunately, the night staff were either sleeping or incompetent as two very loud drinks kept going down the hall and out every 10 minutes. A terrible sleep as I was awoken 6 times.
