This is a review of the Superior Queen Room. Hotel 81 Lucky is a nice hotel located in the Geylang area of Singapore. I arrived earlier than the stated check-in time and was able to get my room keys fast and easily. ROOM: The room was decently sized, it was not too small. It had enough space to put some small belongings around. There are 2 charging ports around the room for charging devices. The air conditioner didn't seem to work that well, even though I set it on a low temperature at 16 degrees Celsius, the room temperature seemed to remain the same despite there being cold air coming from the air conditioner. SERVICES: The Wi-Fi works well, the TV broadcasted only local channels. The staff at the hotel were very nice and polite. They greeted me with a smile every time I entered and exited, they were also prompt in delivering some coffee packets when I requested some in the middle of the night, so the service was good. COMFORT: The bed was comfortable enough to sleep, there were no loud noises around my room when I was staying, which is awesome. The shower was decent, the water can get quite nice and hot. AMENITIES: The one thing that I kind of overlooked when I booked the room was checking if there was a mini fridge, and I realized only after I arrived in my room that the room doesn't include it. So, I hope future travelers can take note of that. Basic amenities are provided like a set of toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a dryer in one of the drawers and the shower has a 2-in-1 hair and body soap dispenser. There are no mini safes in the room. OTHER: For accessibility, there's a nearby bus stop to reach the hotel and there are a few food stalls and a minimart close by. OVERALL: It's a decent hotel, the rooms aren't much to admire but the hotel staff's services are great in my experience. The room price isn't too expensive, the rooms are about as much as you pay for, and you can get a good price if you book early in advance.

We booked a twin room but unfortunately it was full, so the check-in desk changed our room to a queen-size bed room. Housekeeping was early and on point. It is within walking distance to MRT Aljunied station, the nearest bus station, and to National Stadium, Singapore Indoor Stadium, or Kallang Riverside Park. In conclusion, this place is worth the price. Thank you!

The hotel is guaranteed safe, because not just anyone is allowed to enter, going out to find good food is just a walk of less than 2 minutes, for those who use the bus it is also convenient, it is very close, to the MRT is quite far

The room was dusty, as if it hadn't been used for a long time. So for two days, I couldn't sleep because I was short of breath.

Other than the location and the cheap price, there is nothing good about it. The hotel is rundown with poor facilities. I booked 2 nights here but only managed to sleep 1 night, the other night I had to change hotel immediately. Lost 1 night and no refund

I had wonderful stay here, the room size is perfect for solo traveller. The room & bathroom is clean with the amenities. The AC is pretty cold too. They provide towels, hair dryer, water boiler, and hanger.
