Everything was very good except one thing I am unhappy about. I had booked a double room but by mistake it was booked for one person, and when my cousin arrived they charged her again! I thought that was not fair.

The air conditioning never cool the room below 24°C (75.2°F). The room's power and air are connected a device you use have your key card in. I used a different card just so we can power electronics during the day and so the air conditioner would run (it was a dangerous heat wave declared by the Health Ministry. 40°C (100+F). The cleaning crew removed the card, opened our windows, and shut the curtains so we didnt notice. After my kids and I were overwhelmed by the heat and needed to rest somewhere cool, our room was 87°F. It didnt cool down all night. Beds are also very stiff. The buses run very slow so it is extremely time consuming to get to city center. We ended up spending a fortune on Taxi as to not walk 30min in the heat. I will say that it is very clean.

Our car was in parking inside the hotel gate. Monitored 24/7. Apparently. We went downtown on foot on the second day of our stay, and when we went to leave on day 3 the driver door wouldn't open. After using the physical key and fighting with the lock, we were able to open the door. It was clearly tampered with, and without pointing fingers there is a very short list of possible culprits. The housekeeping staff also uses a strong bleach solution to clean the bathrooms including the tile walls. Unfortunately a pair of black pants that was hanging to dry was stained by the bleach and ruined. We notified the front desk on checkout but they didn't seem to care. The room had no screens so the window we had to open for cool air at night let in mosquitoes that were ferocious. Overall not somewhere we could recommend. The breakfast was on par with the rest of the experience. The redeeming quality was the location, namely the proximity to the German style gastro pub down the block. That place was 12/10, and gave both of the stars in the rating.

Really nice property, liked that the bus stop was right outside the hotel. Delicious breakfast and the staff was great, kudos to those ladies!

Noisy room. I got a room directly behind the reception desk. So I heard phone ringing, guests checking in and out, and all sorts of typical lobby activities. Also, the hotel is close to one of the main rooms so emergency vehicle sirens are also added to the sound track.

We had an amazing stay!

The property was quite a ways from the tourist attractions, but that was ok.

The service was great. Would recommend for any one who would like to stay in Florence.

Comfortable room, although a little rough around the edges (wall paper coming off, bud ride or 30 minute walk from main square etc) Nice continental breakfast catering to gluten and dairy free. Extremely helpful front desk.

Very clean and loved the staff and breakfast.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, the breakfast staff were very good. The breakfast was filling with lots of choice for a continental breakfast. The only issue was that the air-conditioning wasnt able to be put on cold or below 22 degrees, making the room warm to sleep in. Leaving windows open didnt help because of noise from the traffic whilst trying to sleep.

There are better ones similar price that are in better locations.

1- The front desk gentleman was not helpful and limited to yes/no answers. 2- The elevator is too small, and it’s only one, which difficult the access to room and breakfast area.

Decent stay for a decent price. Nothing fancy. Paid parking and dirty/old carpet in the room was my worst complaint. Staff was not overly friendly, but I’ve found that to be the norm in Italy.
