The hotel is dated especially with the sound proofing. Very pure insulation when you hear every word the neighbouring room guest. Since the flooring is tiled, whenever the next room guest or upstairs, the sound of the chair dragging on the floor is annoying and happens often. When we open the window a little for fresh air, the traffic sound is non stop and the garbage truck wakes us up in the early hours. The bath faucet is leaking so the water sprays out of the bath tub. The tiles are old and the caulking is falling off and it makes the bath look not clean. The fridge took 24 hours to get cold. The location is good and it looks like a historical set up but needs sprucing up.

PARKING ACROSS IN CITY GARAGE WAS GOOD AND VERY CLOSE. WE EVENTUALLY GOT A ROOM AFTER A FEW HOURS DUE TO THE NATIONAL POWER OUTAGE. THAT WAS MUCH BETTER THAN SLEEPING ON A LOBBY SOFA OR IN OUR CAR.

While i was visiting, i had several virtual meetings. The internet connection was at best below average. There were several occasions i got kicked out of my meeting for low connection speed. The hotel looks fantastic and is in a great location.

Great staff

The room was soooo hot and the AC wasn’t working. We opened the windows but were forced to close them at night due to the noise of a Christmas market right across the hotel. The parking was very convenient right across the street.

not a 4 star but a good 3 three star, pool was small with half of the floor closed off for building but no one working, only 4 sun beds and 4 chairs for all the guests ? rooms slightly dated, lovely full length mirror but by the side of the bed of couldn't be used as full sized, poor planning !! a fridge, plugged in but not working, shower is desperate need of de scaling adn needs a very good clean, bathroom needs updating

Convenient location, great breakfast, friendly staff. BUT… they do not have a parking at the property as they are renovating (there was no mention of it on the booking page). Plus someone (another guest) in the adjacent room was moving the furniture every night we were there (two nights). In spite of many good things, I would not stay at this hotel again.
