Everything was basically good, including the breakfast. Too bad it was really noisy. Not sure if it was from the lounge on the 6th floor or where else, but the thin walls caused me to hear people doing karaoke every night during my stay there. The karaoke lasted all the way from 7 PM to 1 AM.

Clean, tidy, and strategically located. Overall the best. The breakfast is delicious.

It serves its purpose as somewhere to spend the night, and little more. I would strongly recommend managing your expectations, as the hotel is rather ordinary and lacks any distinguishing qualities. It is perfectly acceptable for a short stopover if you simply need a bed, but I certainly would not choose it for the overall experience.

Every time I go to Pontianak, I always stay at the Gajahmada Hotel.

It was fun, I brought my family. The staff were very friendly, from the receptionist to the security guards, who were always ready to assist guests. The restaurant was a bit lacking in food, and my child was charged a fee, even though he didn't actually eat. But because of the charge, he had no choice but to eat. We were at another hotel, a star-rated one, and my child wasn't charged. But I was still happy. Thank you for the service.

Very strategic location (looking for food, on the main road, close to everywhere), friendly staff, very competitive prices.

The AC is leaking and not cooling. It might be better to have it serviced regularly.
