The hotel is approximately 4 kilometers from the main road (the Sungai Raya entrance). The security and hotel staff are friendly. There are also many food vendors and minimarkets in the hotel area.
I chose a superior king bed for approximately 430,000 Rupiah. The room was quite spacious, with a TV, Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, air conditioning, an exhaust fan in the room and bathroom. The toilet, shower, and sink all worked well. Toiletries, two bottles of mineral water, hotel slippers, a notebook, and stationery were provided. The sheets and bed cover were very comfortable. There was an elevator for easy luggage transportation.
Behind the main hotel is a new building (presumably for new rooms). It has nine floors and two elevators. The restaurant/breakfast is on the eighth floor. The karaoke hall is open to the public on the ninth floor.
Parking is ample in front of and behind the hotel. There are two ATMs and two banks in the parking lot.
Cons:
1. The hotel's food is quite varied and quite expensive, ranging from 50,000 to 70,000 Rupiah per portion.
2. In my opinion, the food taste wasn't worth the above-standard price.
3. The chef didn't seem to respond to customer requests. He asked for spicy fried rice, but when it arrived, it was non-spicy fried rice with liquid chili in a separate small bowl. 🤣. He asked for hot tea and was given lukewarm tea.
4. For breakfast, choose a menu from the menu. I asked why it wasn't a buffet. The waiter replied: "Buffet breakfast is only available if there are at least 17 guests staying."
Suggestions:
1. Install a hotel neon sign on the roadside so guests heading to the hotel in the afternoon/evening don't get lost.
2. Whether it's the chef or the cook, listen to guest complaints and address them promptly.
