The hotel staff was very helpful, but this hotel is not recommended for older people because you have to climb five flights of stairs to get to your room. Generally, accommodations around Samosir are located on the lower floors because they directly view Lake Toba. Hopefully, an elevator will be available in the future. The cleanliness, view, and staff are all great. For younger people, it's a bit of a workout to climb up and down the stairs to get to the parking lot, but the comfort and view are well worth it.

My first experience was very disappointing. I had to wait over an hour for my first check-in because the room wasn't ready. I complained several times before it was finally resolved, and the room I was given wasn't the room we booked.

The receptionist was very unfriendly and arrogant. She was already so pretentious just checking in. The service was very poor, the cooking utensils were incomplete, and the room smelled of rotting flesh.

In my opinion, for a hotel with a fairly expensive price, not recommended. 1. when you first enter, no staff directs you to the parking lot. You have to call several times to be directed 2. book a hotel online, when you book, you make a note "next to each other" but when you check in, the rooms are very far apart 3. the way to the room is far and no staff takes the "initiative" to help carry your things 4. the service when I check in is not very friendly 5. order food, there is an additional charge if it is delivered to the room
