I got a clean room with a view of the mountains and Batu city. The staff was friendly, the service was good, and check-in and check-out were quick. Any complaints about the room were addressed immediately. The only real disappointment was the breakfast menu, which was very mediocre. I stayed for three nights and the menu was almost the same every morning, getting boring. The food was good, but more attention could be paid to the variety and quality of the food.

Aston always provides excellent service, and it's true that you get what you pay for. From comfortable rooms to air conditioning, which is ideal for the cold weather, clean bathrooms, and delicious food. Thank you to all the friendly and family-like staff. The hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean, and the food is varied. Unfortunately, when we visited, they didn't have Malang meatballs on the menu. The rooms have good views, and for a superior room, they are a bit small, but still comfortable. They aren't soundproof, so noise from neighboring rooms and outside can be heard.

So far, there have been no problems during my stay. Everything is safe, the room is clean, the hotel is clean, the hot water is also running smoothly, amenities are also available and there are no shortages, and there is a hairdryer. Only maybe there are a lot of small ants on the table under the TV, but it's still okay, it's not too disturbing. The service is also very friendly 🥰❤️

This is my second time staying at Aston Inn Batu. The service is always excellent and friendly. The deluxe rooms are quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. The atmosphere is quite peaceful; I recommend choosing a room on the upper floors for a beautiful view. My favorite thing here is the breakfast menu, which is very varied and quite delicious. I'll definitely be back next time. A little suggestion about the TV: it's time to upgrade to a smart TV.

It's a shame for the bed if you want 1 queen or king. It's a twin bed made into 1. There's no full 1 queen size like that. The food tastes decent and varied too, but not the best like the average Aston other. It's like a 3-star hotel, even though it's actually a 4-star. Then for the rice porridge, it's really forced, it's not perfectly cooked when it's served, it's still rough. But the view is really the best. This is a typical Aston hotel that may be a bit old, but the cleanliness and Aston standards are still well maintained. It's just a shame for the type of bed, if you want 1 queen, the twin is made into 1, there's no full 1 like that. But everything is paid for by the view.

I think this is a nice hotel in Malang, but unfortunately, we found what looked like a leech in the bathroom. We've informed the hotel staff, and someone has seen our video footage, but instead of apologizing, they just kept quiet. This kind of service is terrible for a hotel like Aston. Breakfast was varied, but the vegetables and fried rice were bland. I won't be staying here again next time I'm in Malang.

My first stay at Aston Inn Batu was very satisfying. My second experience was also quite good. This third time, I was a bit disappointed because the two single beds in my room weren't connected, even though I waited the day before, and no hotel staff came. I also requested a mountain view, but instead I got a balcony with a view of trees covering the mountain, even though I booked two weeks in advance. Otherwise, there were no issues. Sorry, this is an honest review... 🙏🙏
