The room was clean and welcoming. The main issue I had was the breakfast. I stayed for four days and the breakfast was exactly the same every single day. No variations. While the staff was attentive, it would have been nice to have had a variety instead of quiche and a bread pudding every single morning. Very little protein. Lots and lots of carbs (breads, pastries, etc.). I could see the look from other patrons as they saw all the carbs as well. From what the reviews were, I expected more.

The breakfast was fantastic. Homemade breakfast casseroles every morning. The staff was so friendly and always wanted to bring you something or help you.

We went to Niagara-on-the-Lake to celebrate my 65th birthday. I choose Harbour House Hotel based on reviews and what appeared to be close proximity to Queen and King streets along with on-site parking. The hotel has a nautical theme. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the Continental breakfast servers less so. One in particular seemed to have an attitude problem. I asked for 2 orange juice glasses with ice. She would not provide it so I requested a water with ice and an orange juice. I drank down the water and poured the OJ over the ice in the now empty OJ glass and asked for another orange juice. This circumvented the issue but I shouldn't have had to do this for such a simple request. The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. I'm hot blooded and couldn't make the room cold enough for me, but you may be very comfortable with the settings. As for the distance from Queen and King streets, it wasn't walkable for my wife and I so we drove each time we wanted to go to the main area and paid for parking there. The hotel is in a quiet area, has ample parking and EV chargers should you need one, and overall we enjoyed our stay there.

This is a lovely property in a good location. Very comfortable at a reasonable price. It is not located directly in the downtown area but the provide a free shuttle service that works well.

If you like a smaller, more intimate hotel, this is it. Beautiful hotel, spacious room and bathroom, friendly and attentive staff, delicious included breakfast. Walking distance to Queen Street. The hotel also provided shuttle service to Shaw Festival plays and local restaurants. We did a trolley wine tour through the hotel that was excellent. Our trolley tour guide and driver, Margaret, was a riot, telling jokes and making us laugh the whole time! She only works on Saturdays and Sundays, though. We had an awesome vacation in NOTL thanks to Harbour House!

Could have done with another comfy chair, drinking water in the room. The windows were shockingly dirty throughout the building. This is meant to be positive suggestions Lovely room great staff excellent breakfast and great location Yes would recommend

This property is tired and not well kept. The staff were good and the breakfast staff super friendly. Breakfast was help yourself with a range of warm and cold items. Our room was spacious and clean but bathroom had dirty walls and crumbling sections on each side of shower. In the main bathroom off lobby I noticed the baseboards were filthy and mentioned it to front staff. They did clean it. We like to use the stairwell a d found the floors dirty as we climbed up and down. Overall would not recommend staying here.

We found Harbour House to be an outstanding hotel with a very welcoming staff; a large, pleasant room; good linens and excellent service. It is not so large that the guest is overlooked or an inconvenience. Overall, it was a very welcome treat. Harbour House was our favorite hotel on what was a too long trip. Oh, the late afternoon wine and cheese was a happy surprise and nice way to meet other travelers.

Breakfast along w/ the Servers local insights were a great way to start the day in a lovey waterfront town surrounded by vineyards!
