First hotel i have ever stayed that didnt allow use of the pool area on the day of checkout. The pool was slimey but it was a very hot day an very mean spirited after a 5 day stay.

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings in probably the nicest area of Salta. Very helpful staff, very clean, great pool. Would highly recommend

The staff was very friendly, and readily answered our questions, and they were amenable to speaking Spanish with us which is what we very much enjoyed. They also knew a good deal about where we might hike, and about where we could go to an artisan market in Salta.

we stayed at the start of the coronavirus travel bans in Argentina. The front desk were great at advising us on the current state of things and giving helpful advice on what to do next. Staff very friendly and helpful

Excellent value for money. The staff were really friendly and helpful - gave lots of advice on routes to take to neighbouring destinations. The rooms aren’t extravagant/luxurious but they have everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful and there are lots of birds that can be observed. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Fantastic hotel with amazing view. Very attentive service. Beautiful grounds. The only disadvantage was absence of fridge in the room, but we were able to use kitchen fridge. Breakfast is varied but unfortunately largely sweet options, very few savoury options. All in all - great stay, would come back

This lovely little hotel is a bit outside of Salta in the hills of San Lorenzo. It’s a leafy suburb with vacation homes of the wealthy Argentines. The hotel is very cute: it has a large and beautiful garden with a pool. The property is adjacent to the river and it would be possible to spend several relaxing days here. The garden has a nice playground for kids and a ping pong table for teenagers. The rooms are simple but spacious. The hotel has an eco certification and doesn’t have a fridge in the room. The bathroom is adequate but not luxurious. There is no elevator in the building but staff will carry your suitcase up to the second floor. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner but has several restaurants within 5 minutes (driving). The hotel has games available for guests and the terrace is a lovely place to connect with family and kids. I rate this hotel high for quiet and relaxation.

Excellent location with beautiful views and all the staff more than willing to help, can't ask for more. Cleanliness is outstanding and the breakfast elaborate.

Hotel Selva Montana is situated in beautiful country which will appeal to nature lovers. A great place to spend a few days to recharge. Friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and helped with travel bookings.
