On arrival the sea view room looked ok. Hot weather and large window open to keep room cool. The en suite had no towel rails and nowhere to put toilet bags other than the floor and was not well cleaned and painted and had a strange humming noise that was constant. Went out for evening and weather turned cooler but large window did not close so had to improvise. Left next day after what I would call adequate breakfast but nobody around on reception to discuss problems just a basket for keys.

Breakfast was good, room was tired but bedding was very clean. You have to request sea view rooms before checking in as we found out… even though we arrived a hour before the scheduled check in time all sea view rooms where already been allocated.

Nice place for a stop over

Completely misled on booking no breakfast and no parking both supposed to be available.

There was no car park and the parking we did find was expensive and inconvenient. The lift wasn't working for most of our stay and when it did work my wife and I both got trapped in it on separate occasions. It was also rather small. The pillows were passed their usefulness date. There was no bar or restaurant It was hard work to get up the stairs to our rooms especially with luggage

I'd stayed at the hotel once before and had a front facing room which was just superb. This time I had a back room which had no view so was a little disappointing. On the other hand, being solo and with a dog, it was easier than trying to climb the stairs. It wasn't a big deal as I was only there for one night. There is no allocated parking so it's pot luck along the front. I got within about 100m. There are no evening meals served so it's a walk along the front to a cafe which was fine. The room itself was plenty big enough, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. I'd stay there again, but next time might request a front facing bedroom, the stairs would be worth it.

Sufficient but overpriced.

Very handy location along promenade. Room nice and clean. Staff all pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Queensbridge Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and so was the breakfast, with plenty of choice and eggs cooked fresh as needed. First class! However our room was on the back and looked out at scaffolding to the building. Beyond that we saw the mountain which was good. The room was ideal for a family, and on the first floor. The drawback was the lift not working and the dining room was downstairs. The bathroom could have been cleaner with the door having spills down it and dust on the ledges. Lovely people.

Great location, room was spacious. An older property but loved it for its character and charm. The breakfast was awesome!

Good enough place to stay out of season

The disgusting state of the bathroom overshadowed any plus points in this room. View would have been good if the windows weren’t filthy. Only positive was the lady overseeing breakfast, very friendly and helpful. Signage outside says there is a lift but this doesn’t work. Would not stay here again.

Great location right on the front with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are functional and have all the basics needed.
