Always great service from the team and the food is an example of what traditional British Pub food should be. Great portion size, great flavour and no fuss or frills for an amazing price. Parking is easier if found in a street nearby as the car park is a bit limited if busy.

Came down for a family birthday, so didnt stay long but made to feel so welcome ☺️, comfy bed 😴 rooms had character. We came back late and was still made to feel special. Nice place 👌

This is a gorgeous pub with a huge amount of history and a very welcoming vibe. The rooms are cosy and characterful (and very clean) and the food is excellent. The owners are also very friendly and attentive. I had a lovely stay!

Stopped by for a meal on a Saturday evening. We had home made curry which was really nice. Definitely recommend. The service was really good too.

Can honestly say that was the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had! Staff were lovely and friendly and even put a biscuit out for our friend’s dog! Highly recommend.
