We had traveled through China, and stayed in different hotels. We had a great stay here. The staff was really nice, and helpful. They even carried out our bags to the car as we left. The place was right by the river. Beautiful The breakfast was ok. But served with care. The room was clean, and spacious. Definitely would recommend

The hotel serves a delicious and cheap breakfast! And their coffee is amazing. The hotel is located centrally to most things in Guilin! I really enjoyed my stay!

The hotel is at a very good location. The hotel staff recommended tours for me as I got there and was very thorough in their instructions as to navigate around the non English speaking tours. The breakfast is good. The staff is very nice!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Staff are very friendly. Was given an upgraded room. Excellent housekeeping. Updated facilities but Poor wifi signal. Location is not that great cause it’s in an alley and maybe difficult to find if using public bus from train station. Overall, good value for money. Will consider staying again if I revisit Guilin again.

Check in was excellent, receptionist gave you information on the city without you asking, a map was provided and she pointed out all the places to visit. Excellent treatment, room was very comfortable. It was my second time at this hotel and i would definately repeat again

Conveniently located, close to shops, eateries & places of interest. A little out of the way in terms of finding the hotel and would need gps in this regard. Otherwise, v very happy with the friendly service & ease of access to all amenities.

We had a lovely room overlooking the river. This is a small property and I believe all the rooms are individual. Breakfasts are individually prepared, guests can select from a menu. I had fresh fruit and was given a huge plateful.

Great place overall if you are visiting Guillin and great service. Will stay there again.

I loved this place! Very helpful. Great breakfast. Very clean and well kept. Great location next to the river within walking distance from elephant hill. Two room suite was perfect for us and our two teenagers. Guilin and the river cruise to Yangshuo was awesome.

This is the old Riverside Hostel rebranded as Riverside Inn. Clean and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Quiet neighborhood but a bit far from the main local attractions.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern (recently refurbished), with supremely comfortable beds. The rooms are a good size given the price, and the location is next to the river and right in the centre of town, allowing easy exploration by foot. The staff are friendly, speak good English and the stand out is Lulu who is always smiling, laughing and very welcoming. Plus she makes really good dumplings, so you've got everything you need on-site for a comfortable stay. Their wireless is very fast, too. Would absolutely recommend and definitely stay here again.

Nice modern decor of the family rooms facing the river and the outdoor deck to relax. Location is very convenient too.

Hotel is lovely. Just been refurbished and so everything looks and is new. Room was lovely, I booked the river view room and it was worth it. Locations is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful and speak very good english. Recommend this hotel without hesitation

i booked the cheapest available room and they upgraded me to a bigger one. Staff at reception were very nice and friendly and helpful. No complaints at all, enjoyed my stay and would definately come back if i visit guillin again.

So, I chose a basic room at first but ended up doing the upgrade. SO WORTH IT!!! Here's a list of things I liked: - The room itself - just wow. Wow! Clean, Luxurious - you'd never think it packed all this from other photos of outside. - Location. Right on the Li River, friends and I were able to walk around and eat, see Elephant Hill, and go thru and see the Sun and Moon towers in the park along with the original gate to the city... we walked awhile but it's all that close. - Actual tours/pricing. A lot of hotels in China advertise access to a "tour to __", but in reality it's a third party they have to contact.. and arrange and its not what I imagined. This was the only hotel that did it how I imagined: Exact prices for each tour behind them on chalkboard and readily able to tell you about what each tour offered. - Options for breakfast. I had gotten used to Chinese breakfast but I tried their American one for funsies. Very good! This is definitely a diamond in the rough, in fact, had I known - I might have trimmed days off of Beijing planned my trip to Guilin differently. That is how much I loved this spot.

Excellent location, English speaking staff, close to many attractions that are walkable. Close to bus and train stations. Excellent service.
