The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room service young lady was lovely. However that’s all the positives. Negatives. We had already paid an agency but were asked to provide credit card details on a piece of paper, just unsafe as anyone could access it when stored in an office. The staff took umbrage when I pointed out how wrong this was. No details then no stay, we had no option. The small car park was not marked so it was a free for all. Also a space wasted to an old vintage car with a flat tyre. People get blocked in. After asking for help with being blocked in we were asked to park differently when we returned to make room for hotel guests. We pointed out we were also guests. There was no room anyway. We were warned it was noisy on a weekend, yes it was, can’t complain about that as we were warned. The ceiling in the bar area was in a bad state of repair, there were huge cracks in it and it was pretty grubby. The head of one of the beds was loose as there were screws that had come away. It didn’t look at all like how bed heads are usually fixed on but a bad repair. We certainly would not go back.

The staff were so lovely and helpful. My room was so clean and fresh with all the essentials. I had dinner there and it was delicious. The only negative was that I only got to spend one night there

I was absolutely pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the Hotel, it was exactly suitable for my needs for one night , the room was very clean. The bathroom looked pretty new and spotless, the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with and a nice touch was the bagged continental breakfast for the following morning. There was a bottle of water in the room a fan for cooling this summer, tea and coffee facilities as well The only slightly negative thing was I had to park in a local car park a couple of hundred yards away but overall I was really pleased with the Hotel and the price point and I would absolutely recommend it

Nice tidy room, comfy bed, good sized shower , nice towels and bed linen. Kettle, biscuits, tea bags etc all fine. Reasonably quiet, until the karaoke started on Friday night, ear plugs sorted that. Hannah was a star and helped us out with stuff. Very reasonable room rate. Maybe get rid of the karaoke (some singers?) and have open mic Friday's.. All in all pretty good

Everything you need and expect for a cheap nights stay. Clean, all the basics. Lovely touch providing some bits for breakfast left in the room!

Room was clean and well presented Staff were helpful but check felt like a job interview 😃 . Staff did make me aware of noise environment during my stay.But unfortunately this led to sleep disruption. Mainly caused by members of the public and anxillary equipment from the cellar.

I had a great single night's stay in this very central (yet still quiet) location. Staff at the bar were available to check me in and show me to my room, which was appreciated. The room itself exceeded expectations -- great size for a single room, well decorated with storage and hanging space, free sockets, kettle and tea bags etc, and a spick-and-span ensuite bathroom with decent shower. It's a shame a cooked breakfast wasn't available but I appreciated the bag with instant porridge, a croissant and jam, juice, a flapjack and an apple. I didn't visit the bar other than to check in and out, but the room was of a high standard (making it great value for money) and I would stay here again.

The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful

Great one night stay at the King's Arms. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. Couldn't work out how to use the TV and a nice chap came up immediately to sort it. Couldn't fault the clealiness. Great shower. Continental breakfast in a bag contained flapjack, apple, juice, croisant, butter and jam and a porridge pot. Had a great evening meal in the pub. Very friendly place and would stay again. Thank you.

Room clean, staff welcoming

Old style room but was really nice,supplied two continental breakfasts in little brown bags which teally was a nice touch. Good pub,great atmosphere and nice staff 👍

The staff were very polite and accomadating to all our needs and requests . Rooms were very clean and everything in them you needed for a comfortable stay. Food was excellent . Biggest selection Of drinks that sure there was nothing you couldn't purchase. All round the 6 of us had an awesome stay and would highly recommend.
