The hotel was very pleasant. The air conditioning was cool, so sleep quality was good, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very adequate, and it was child-friendly.

I frequently visit Malang for both work and personal reasons. This hotel meets my needs, as it's close to my workplace and the city center. Furthermore, the facilities are excellent. Laundry is fast and affordable. The service is good and responsive. The rooms are quieter than other rooms. My only minor comment is the parking.

The room is clean and comfortable, the location is also very strategic. The view from the room in the morning looks beautiful mountains, the view at night looks calming Malang city lights 🥰. Overall everything is good and steady 👍 The swimming pool is also very comfortable and clean 😉. The minus is the refrigerator in my room is not cold at all 🥹 even though I really need a cold refrigerator to store my child's MPASI stock, and store some souvenirs for my family in Kalimantan 😭.

The crusty/rusty toilet bowl was visible from the foot of the mattress when the toilet door was not closed. The mattress was quite firm, but relatively comfortable enough for me, and the bolster really made for a very satisfying sleep, plus there were no small, logo-emblazoned pillows that usually look shabby. The mattress was very good, and the additional reading light was very useful for light or aesthetic lighting. The desk was quite sturdy even though it was against the wall, not brittle or moving when pressed. My room was in front of the elevator, but I never heard any disturbing noise from outside. The soundproofing was good. In-Room Dining: Unfortunately, in-room dining isn't open 24 hours, even though the tent card stated it was open 24 hours. (It didn't say it was open until 10 p.m., or maybe I missed it). I ordered the next day, but the menu I wanted wasn't available, which was quite disappointing. My order arrived fairly quickly, even though I was told it would be late because breakfast was closing. Unfortunately, the condition was also less than satisfactory. The spring rolls I ordered were quite oily, broken, and a bit cold, while some of the drinks weren't cold enough (there wasn't enough ice) and some didn't taste right. The good things were the various payment options, including QRIS, and the service from the hotel staff who delivered them. Facilities: The heated swimming pool, accompanied by the cool Malang air, was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the restrooms/changing rooms were small and not separated for men and women. The gym equipment was basic: a stationary bike, treadmill, bench press, some dumbbells, and a water dispenser. The lobby is quite comfortable and provides a welcome drink. Unfortunately, there are only a few waiting sofas and they are too low for my comfort. However, online booking is very satisfying because you have to hand it in to the receptionist and provide the hotel room number, so there is less chance of a mix-up or problems after arrival. The elevator is slightly inward, unfortunately, you have to pass through the disabled toilet with the door open, so the smell is not very pleasant. I also think it's quite uncomfortable for toilet users to go out the door directly facing people waiting for the elevator. While most restrooms still have a buffer area that is not immediately visible, the comfort is very different.

When I have an event in Malang, I always stay at the Ibis Hotel. The rooms are clean, with hot water always available. The breakfast menu is varied and delicious. The room offers a view of Malang's city lights. In the morning, the kids can swim in the hotel pool. The kids are also happy to stay here. I will stay here again next time. A warm swimming pool. A wide variety of delicious food. I arrived at 9 a.m. and was helped through the check-in queue and was able to leave my luggage. I was informed at 1:30 p.m. that my room key was ready for pick-up. Thank you, Ibis Hotel.

A pleasant experience during a staycation with the family. Good service and a family-friendly hotel atmosphere. The swimming pool is comfortable because it's not exposed to direct sunlight. A small suggestion from me: the air conditioning shouldn't be too cold. Thank you 🙏
