Trying to give an honest review about what to expect... We stayed a week in May and had booked based on many of the things you will have read already. ROOM We were 'upgraded' to a Charming Room. It was OK. Not massive. Good fittings and furniture. Just a shower in the bathroom which varied a lot in temperature. All sorts are promised such as two housekeeping visits a day. That only happened twice. Keeping things stocked was inconsistent. The aircon was OK but never really got the room cool during a hot spell. FOOD The promise of the best breakfast in Turin massively disappoints. It was a basic continental buffet. Not much choice. I've had far better selections at other Italian hotels. We stopped bothering to get up for it, especially as it closed at 10.30am. We were on holiday! NOISE The rooms are cleaned from 7am it seems. The noise of furniture being moved and vacuum cleaners started that early waking us up. Together with building work next door, it was impossible to get peace to sleep in the morning. The poop are spa are good but not open in the mornings. The staff were helpful if not particularly warm (given it purports to be a family hotel). The lifts feel dodgy. It is in a good location and overall was decent but perhaps not at the price charged.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in Turin! 10 minutes walk from the train station and close to many piazzas, churches, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are simple and beautiful, and the breakfast is very good. There are plenty of spaces to relax outside or inside. The spa is a plus as well.

The room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom. The bathtub was covered in gray dirt! The mirror was streaked. There was someone else's hair in the corners. I think for €200 a night, this shouldn't happen. The room was very comfortable. You could really relax on the comfortable bed! The minibar, if you can call it that, could be better. I don't think the breakfast is up to par for this hotel. I think the food selection needs to be improved. I'd also like to mention the staff working the breakfast buffet! They're wonderful, friendly, and well-mannered! I shake everyone's hand 🫡

I am very disappointed by the way this situation was handled. My wife required urgent medical care, and despite the circumstances, the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility or empathy. Beyond the strict cancellation policy, what was most shocking was the complete lack of assistance or concern during a real medical emergency. At no point did anyone offer practical help, such as calling an ambulance, assisting us, or even asking whether we needed support while rushing to the hospital in a foreign country. I understand that hotels have policies, but basic human consideration and customer care should come first in situations involving health emergencies. Unfortunately, this experience left us with the feeling that administrative rules mattered more than the wellbeing of guests.
