Such a lovely old English hotel. Staff were so helpful, polite and nice. Room was clean with everything you need. Bed comfortable and full English breakfast very good.

The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed there on Friday and Saturday night when there was a wedding each day so they were kept very busy. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly & helpful staff with beautiful building

We stayed overnight and despite a booking agency error the staff were helpful and rectified the problem. The room was spacious and clean, we had an excellent night's sleep and super breakfast. Staff were excellent - thank you!

Great sized twin room. Fabulous breakfast. Perfect one night stay.

2nd floor room staircase was difficult to manage with bags etc. Room was small and outdated and very hot - NB it was a heatwave. The staff were good. The room was clean

Ensure each room has a fan or AC.

Beautiful property with very helpful staff. A small fridge & some air con would have been nice but would definitely book again.

Room was excellent value and very large and came with a bath and a separate shower which you do not see very often these days. Also very quiet location.

Very hot day and was not given a fan in the night. The room was stifling hot in the summer heatwave.

Very impressed with everything. Hotel had style, well decorated and maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful and all had a smile. A very nice evening meal. Well presented, hot and tasty. Very happy to stay there again if in the area. Many thanks to everyone for an enjoyable overnight stay.

Plenty of foc parking which is fab... (Charging for parking is a cynical way of charging more) The full English breakfast was delicious

Our twin room was not one of the newly refurbished rooms. But was extremely clean, it had everything you needed and the beds were really comfortable. [Just a tad outdated]. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Free on site parking and nice area to sit outside. The staff were so helpful, really pleasant and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. You cannot beart the 'value for money'. Definitely stay again if in the area. Lovely hotel.
