Fun lobby experience…great cafe, pool tables, lots of places to sit and meet new people. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location to walk several places like Terry Fox memorial, restaurants, harbour, pubs. Staff friendly & very helpful. Clean quiet rooms Cafe in lobby has breakfast foods for purchase - can sit inside or out by ocean Will definitely return.

I didn’t appreciate the first front desk clerk. Young with dark hair. She talked way too fast, didn’t explain things well and was a little arrogant. The next day the front desk staff person was the total opposite REALLY friendly, genuinely nice and helpful ~ a mature woman with grey hair and was wearing purple.

The onsite restaurant was always closed. makes it more complicated to plan eating.

This is a beautifully appointed hotel on the St. John’s harbour. Very close to restaurants, pubs, jelly bean row, The Battery and Signal Hill. We also had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant.

Treated my parents to a night at The Alt...they LOVED it (as do my husband and I...we've stayed here numerous times!). Everything was perfect... from the staff to stay...and everything in between ☺️ Great job!!

We stayed 2 nights at the Alt Hotel. It is conveniently located short stroll from George St and all that’s happening in St.Johns. The hotel is lovely, parking is available, the rooms are modern and clean and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.
