The hotel was nice however the rooms very dated and dark. Lighting was really poor. The food at breakfast was ok however not very fresh. We had a cheese and chutney sandwich one evening which consisted of 2 thin slices of bread, 1 slice of cheese and a small smear of chutney a few tortilla chips and salad garnish this was £10.50. We also booked the twilight at the spa, had to go looking for staff to get a drink, had to ask for the jacuzzis to be opened, the pool was freezing. Staff attentive and polite when we had found them. Car park very poorly lit at night.
I feel the hotel could be so lovely with a bit more TLC and upgrade on food, if your paying premium prices I would expect premium food and service.
