There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. The mattress was awful, it was so soft you sank into it, I slept on the floor. The noise barrier to the upper suite was non existent, you could hear everything, thank goodness they went to bed early. Being so close to the airport was perfect.

Host was very personable and welcoming. Made us feel welcome!!

I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.

Good room and location. The breakfast was a decent one.

The facility was spacious. The emailed instructions were simple and easy to understand. We never saw any person associated with this venue. I am sensitive and allergic to mold. I’m confident I smelled mold in the bathroom. We saw a bald eagle across the lake! Awesome.

The property is very quiet and quaint. You must eat before coming there on days the restaurant is not open. There are no bars open past 8 pm. There are no tv’s. It met our needs for the night.

Location is also excellent with easy access to gas and airport

No human contact. Access codes only. Bed is very low on floor, no chair. Common area is nice but foul odor. Loud social club or similar below our room. Don't loose your access code.

The room was spacious. Good location. The driveway to parking is very steep and limited - there was no parking Saturday at 6 pm due to the restaurant/bar being busy. Left and returned after 9 pm and there was parking. Also missing a smoke alarm in the bedroom, safety issue - notified personal but it wasn’t replaced. I will notify the local fire service to do an inspection. Only a cold take away breakfast - juice, coffee, water, yogurt, muffin, granola bar, Rice Krispie square, and an apple. Other B & B have a lovely hot breakfast, which is what we expected. When contacted they did change towels and provide supplies on request - quick response which was nice. Some playing cards - although one pack was missing cards, and games one with the timer piece missing - located in a common room - nice touch.

Nice, clean modern decor. Great old school board and card games available. Great live music that entertained until a good hour of 9pm. Parking a bit of a challenge.

We stayed here for a couple nights while visiting Halifax. Used uber to get into town and back - which was quite affordable. Property owner communicated prior to check in, and everything went very well. It was awesome to find the room was stocked with body wash and shampoo, and a fridge with snacks and water. If you need anything else, Sobeys/ liquor store/ fast food just a nice 10 min walk away. The owner of the restaurant attached to the units (Arrow) was a great fella. I wish we had time to enjoy a meal there. Will look forward to in the future as I’d stay here again.

Excellent restaurant downstairs, the one ly thing I didnt absolutely love was the shower. It was a neo angle shower and a bit small for me. They all are though.

Very nice spot to stay. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable, but still really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back!

Came exactly as advertised. Comfortable room, great location. Bistro on main floor is simply outstanding. Thanks for everything Jay!

The little breakfast was great! Took it for the road which was convenient. The bed was a little low and soft for our comfort level but nothing you can do about that. Coffee was great, the view was amazing!!! Great lake view from our room which was the fletcher. I had coffee outside on the Muskoka chairs.

Room was quite small with the bed virtually on the ground. Pillows were not good. Bathroon was the size of the rest of the room and nicely recently rennovated so we liked that part. Got there at just after 9pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant and bar were closed. Went upstairs to the room to watch the rest of the hockey game and no TV in the room. Breakfast was not even continental. For what we paid, not sure we shouldnt have stayed right in Halifax.

Clean room with a convenient location. A beautiful view of the water. We had only planned a one night stay in preparation for an early flight the next morning, but we are wishing we had booked some additional time to enjoy the surroundings and the lively restaurant attached. Lovely spot with a water view. Rooms are clean and the bed is cozy and warm. ( we visited in the spring) Easy check in with key pad for main door and the room. Phone number available if there are any problems. Lovely common living room with coffee and tea. Continental breakfast left for guest in their room. Restaurant is just steps away outside and down the stairs. Delicious food and great vibe
