This hotel was not quite my cup of tea. On entering there wasn't a fresh smell and the whole property could benefit from opening windows. The first room I was offered on the top floor was not acceptable. There were stains on the ceiling from water ingress and the carpet had dirt stains. The next room was clean and acceptable although it was only just big enough for two single beds. The room next door was the laundry room and one of the machines beeped throughout the night. Breakfast was average, and my spoon was not clean - I used a teaspoon from my coffee instead. I left on the second night, instead of staying for the final night, as my sleep was disrupted.

Great staff, food good value

The room was ready when we got there around 11:30, before the noon check in time (also a great perk since most hotels don't allow check in until 3 or later). Parking is on the road but there was plenty and the road felt very safe/quiet. The staff were very helpful and I don't realise breakfast was included in our stay which was another nice perk. Especially for the total price. You can get into central London in 30 mins on the tube so for the price of the room compared to anything closer in, it's well worth it. The bathroom is a bit tired decor wise but not horrendous or anything, our shower just didn't drain all the well and the showerhead could do with a replacement but other than that it was fine. Comfy enough bed with great pillows. Can't complain at all and will definitely use the hotel again when we need to be in London.

A 1 night stay for business. Faultless.

From start to visit this stay was fantastic. Staff couldn’t do any more to make sure we had a good stay, and was evening friendly with my daughter keeping entertained letting her help print cards ect. Already rebooked for the next time we are in London.

We got a room in the basement for this last stay. Never again! Our first night in particular was really disturbed. The previous time we stayed was perfect but will ensure I ask for a non basement room next time. Staff at this hotel are lovely, the rooms are of a good standard and value for money but my advice is steer clear of the basement

Great staff. Lovely modern room. Nice food. BUT: the basement rooms are under the pub and loud music and talking went on past midnight. A green light constantly on also made it very difficult to get to sleep. And pillows like boulders.

This was a first fime staying at the hotel, at night when we checked in everything went really smoothly, great staff and very clean room. However, the morning was sooo disappointing! You could hear everything & everyone from your room, we were disturbed at 8am and couldn’t go back to sleep! From door alarms to people going up and down on the stairs! That one specific door with the creek noise was absolutely disastrous! I do not recommend this place you want to have a restful stay.

The greeting was amazing at the Hadley, bright airy bedroom , good lighting and big modern tv and the bathroom was very smart, the star of the show was the breakfast full English perfect in every way Well done that man. The bit that let you down is the cleaners cobwebs on three walls, dirty bedding and carpet as well as the base of the shower, obviously we had the bedding sorted but the following morning in come the whirlwind cleaners, change the bottle of water by the kettle, change the towels and gone not a hoover or duster in sight.
