Clean room. Good parking

Pool was closed for maintenance but overall hotel was excellent. Friendly staff, happy to have a waffle breakfast, room was good. Shower could've drained faster but no big deal.

Hotel is convenient to restaurants and attractions, very clean room and lobby, staff is kind. Definitely be back again.

Overall stay was good, all the typical amenities. Breakfast included with standard options. Nice in lobby lemon water & cookies are offered throughout the day. Under Two EV charging stations with easy QR code that takes you through all the steps, full charge is approx 1.5-2hrs. 10 min walk to Goderich Town Square. Easy short drive to beach. Great central location.

Very clean. Staff was friendly. Air conditioner was a little loud, but otherwise place was nice and clean.

Room very clean, great breakfast, free parking, There was a vent in our bathroom. You could hear loud people’s voices all night long through thar vent in our bathroom. Finally at 4:26 am, I called the front desk to see if they could ask the people to be quieter. She said sorry, when someone comes in, in about an hr, I can ask. There was bumping on our ceiling and very loud women/men that never respected others. Very disappointed. We were travelling through. The morning girl said she could offer a discount, but couldn’t because I booked it on Expedia. Now I need to deal with Expedia. Very inconsiderate groups in the hotel, very loud. Not a good night sleep. Lovely hotel. Front desk staff at 4:26 were not at all compassionate or willing to help address the loudness in the middle of the night. Hotel said I needed to speak to Expedia. Have not heard anything from them. Very, very disappointed in the outcome of the nights sleep. Elly

Pool not open. There are never any towel bars. Extremely annoying. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to install bars so guests could hang towels up and maybe you’d save laundry costs in the long run.

Maintain the current standards, breakfast could have more options.

Great location, great breakfast, sadly the pool was closed for maintenance and we didn’t know that until we checked in, so not having advance notice of that kind of sucked. My son was looking forward to swimming. Otherwise it was a great stay.

We have stayed here once before back in 2020 during COVID when there were plenty of restrictions (No breakfast, no pool, masks) WE loved Goderich and wanted to come back. WE chose the Comfort Suites as our best option. When we arrived this time we were informed the pool was closed - this after a trip to St. Jacob's in February where we were informed the pool was closed there, as well. Why can't these closures be posted on EXPEDIA when a person is booking??? Expedia is dropping the ball here. What a disappointment X2!!!! WE booked both times expecting to have a pool available. Also, the WIFI at this hotel was terrible, slow and at most times useless. The TV options were bare minimum at night. Surely the hotel can provide better TV options?? Furthermore, our rooms dead bolt lock didn't work at all. After unpacking, who would want to gather up and move to another room. We bit the bullet and jerry-rigged a solution. So for two nights for a premium price we got far less than premium service and amenities. WE are very disappointed. Having used EXPEDIA for many years , as a loyal customer, we are feeling a little ripped off in 2026.

the fact the pool was out of commission, no courtyard to sit in, was disappointing, especially when charged in full. breakfast is ok, nice touch on cookies and lemon water daily in lobby. front staff could be more helpful especially the supervisor. parking is convenient and location is great. rooms were very clean and cleaning ladies were very courteous.

Clean , strong air conditioning during a very hot humid day... staff was so helpful.. great parking lot , nice pool area... this is the place to go, if you ever stay in Goderich.. it is worst every penny

My room and common areas were clean and well maintained. Staff were accommodating and breakfast was included. My only concern was the noisy AC. However, considering the heatwave, it was bearable.
