Staff are rude. Water machine is placed in a location which closes at 10pm. During our three week trip around Taiwan it was the only place we encountered rude people.

Location in the mountains, long drive in, facilities and breakfast not commensurate with room rates. Tap water in room had chemical smell. Bring bottled water if staying there. Staff was very helpful.

We simply liked everything! Japanese style room was great, beautiful, so light and it had everything for a comfortable stay. A small tap with drinking water was really handy. A comfortable bed and gentle climate control made it easy to fall asleep. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke English but we communicated through google translate just fine. They organized a transfer to the beginning of the trail head for us the next day we asked with no problem. Lastly, great hot springs facilities! A small thing but it would be fantastic if the coffee place made not only espresso and Americano but latte and cappuccino too :)

It features a relaxing hot mineral bath and a fish massage area. The surroundings are refreshing, with a gently flowing brook and a mountain hiking trail located nearby. The rooms are large, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. Additionally, the breakfast served is satisfying and big parking lot, the rate little high during CNY holiday,

Booked a double bed. Given #725 with great view of the river. But toilet floor is wet as toilet bowl is leaking. Went back to counter, front desk ladies told me to return to my room and facilities will fix it now. One of the ladies went to my room, called facilities who told her it’s a known problem and cannot be fixed immediately. Did a room change to #722 but view became a noisy walkway. Room was also very cold, at 1030pm, it is 11 degrees celcius. Called front desk who told me hotel does not have heating mechanism, asked me to switch off the aircon, in short, hotel does not care if you are cold. Hotel is old, can hear conversations along the corridor, and your neighbours upstairs, downstairs as the balcony windows are not sound proof. Very weak wifi, close to none as wifi connection kept dropping. Stay elsewhere!
