We loved this place! Super friendly and helpful staff and the continental breakfast choice in the room was amazing!

The room was very spacious which we loved. Staff were very friendly, cleaniness could have been beter in the room .but still had nice stay

Stayed for 2 nights, there was no parking and to park in the local car park for the two days cost £42 so would definitely not stay again, the staff were friendly, inconsistent breakfast really good on the 1st morning 2 of everything and very filling, 2nd day was 1 of everything, not much choice either Full English or sandwiche, no decaf tea available. There are no staff in the building overnight so if there are any problems you have a number to call.

On arriving, the systems were down and was a bit chaotic due to being taken over 2 days prior. We said we would go for a walk and check in properly when we got back. This went a little smoother but staff still didnt know 2hat they were doing. For the price you would expect a clean bathroom. However on closer inspection in the morning, it was really dirty. Unfortunatley we went down for breakfast and the poor member of staff was on her own, taking breakfast orders, cookingand keeping the drinks area topped up. All 7 rooms where full and it was unfair that she was on her own. No time to talk to you and therefore no time.to.discuss what was found.

Stayed a few times and host (Tony) is fantastic- great breakfast. Sadly won’t be staying again as being taken over by a shambles of a company who have made Tony redundant - SHAMBLES!

Great traditional pub in the centre of town, Bedrooms look to have been recently refurbished and were very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent.

Yes excellent stay toni the manager goes above and beyond makes your stay more pleasant 10 out of 10 for the manager he works very hard and nothing is to much trouble

Lovely room, staff were great. Centre of Ilkley. Included breakfast was fab. We stayed Monday and Tuesday nights. Would definitely stop there again.

Good pub, Rooms in good decorative order, new fittings, comfortable beds and even over the bar quiet . Staff very pleasant and attentive from the manager down. We felt well looked after.

A room above a pub.. bit not just any room. A cosy comfortable and really clean room with a great bed and really good shower!!

Check-in was easy, the staff very friendly, had evening meal before we went to the theatre then a couple of drinks back at the black hat, lively pub but very friendly
