The hotel facilities are good, but the pillows are not very comfortable.

For the past four years, every time I visit Jakarta, I've stayed at the HI Senen Hotel. Besides being comfortable, it's also a favorite with my husband and kids because it's close to the traditional cake market. 😍

The location is very strategic, easily accessible by TransJakarta buses, and it's surrounded by various shopping centers.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are quite spacious, parking is safe, and it is clean.

I've been near this hotel three times. It's the best. Close to everything. Security is guaranteed, and the hotel is clean.

1. The access to the hotel was terrible, it’s dark, unclean, and hard to find. 2. The hotel is too frugal, highly cutting unnecessary cost so unable to satisfy customers. The room corridor was smelly, no aircon in almost all floors, the lighting was too dark, no circulation in the elevator. 3. The room was clean but found 2 small cockroaches in the bedroom and in the bathroom. 4. The Lobby Lounge closed too early, all the lights were off so no place for the guests to have smoke. 5. Receptionist during check-in was quite friendly, but when I went down to have smoke in the lobby lounge, the staff in front desk mentioned that the lights were off by the dimmer and couldn’t be om manually, so I had to smoke outside the lobby, which was very uncomfortable, then I moved to the restaurant’s balcony which was not that dark. Overall, it was an unpleasant stay. I would never stay there again and would never recommend to everyone to stay there.
