Great location in the heart of Madrid with excellent views and a friendly staff

Excellent location, very quiet, lovely breakfast choice, staff very friendly felt very at home

The beed was kind of dated. Had to stay in the middle of the beed to get some support, as if they have seen better days. Pillows weren't that good.

Wonderful staff. Felicia was amazing and caring. The room was large and quiet. The location was perfect with plenty of cafes, restaurants and things to do.

El hotel es el mismo de hace varios años, la zona por la noches no es muy agradable, mucha basura. En recepción al principio muy amable, pero ante una situación me han dicho ”Esto no es el Ritz”. Por lo demás el desayuno bueno, las habitaciones también. Es una cadena de hoteles bastante aceptable.

Location was perfect and easy to find from the metro station, it was a short walk. Lots coffee, shopping, and food close by. Felt very safe and secure as a single female traveler. The room was so nice, a great bed! Staff was also helpful when I asked for directions and recs, and booked me a taxi to the airport. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay. The property is in a nice neighborhood, a little street that’s pretty quiet and pretty. It’s also a twenty minute or less walk to just about everywhere you’d want to go. I was navigating effortlessly at all times of day. The room was cozy (for a solo traveler perfect size, but maybe cramped for two or more) and well maintained with what I thought were high quality materials, nice tile in the bathroom, comfy carpet, nice bedding, pretty furniture. I loved the giant flatscreen that allowed me to stream Netflix (or Apple TV if that’s your preferred app). They had lots of tasty snacks in the mini bar which I enjoyed every night. The complimentary water was really appreciated on these scorching hot days. They had a room service menu with a QR code to order but unfortunately it wasn’t working for me. I found myself so comfortable here that I actually skipped a few plans in my itinerary just to fully relax and enjoy the room (and dodge the blazing sun outside). The one demerit for this place was the breakfast. It was disappointing. They have a nice selection of fruits, cheeses, and cold cut meats but the hot options were kind of gross. For example, they served potatoes that tasted still partially frozen on the inside. The “bacon” was typical of Europe, nothing a typical American would recognize. But that didn’t damper my experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay here again.

Such a treat to have stayed in this beautiful property in the heart of La Letras barrio. I wish we stayed longer. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

While the staff were courteous, the condition of the facilities and overall ambience did not meet our expectations. The hotel would benefit from refurbishment, improved lighting, better ventilation, and updated flooring to enhance the guest experience. - The property feels quite dated and lacks the modern amenities and atmosphere as shown in the website. - The hallways were very dimly lit, creating a gloomy and uncomfortable atmosphere, especially at night. There is no enough window that can provide natural light. - The room had limited ventilation, which made it feel stuffy. Upon entering, there was a noticeable smell which I assumed coming from the old carpet, which gave the room an aged and less-than-fresh feel. The hotel’s website photos are misleading. The property shown online looks modern, bright, and recently updated, but the actual hotel feels dated and lacks the same level of upkeep. There was a noticeable gap between what was advertised and what we experienced during our stay.

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were lovely. The property feels a bit dated and could benefit from some upgrades and maintenance. The hallways had a stale, old carpet smell and felt somewhat stuffy. Overall, the location and friendly service were highlights, but the hotel itself could use some refreshing.

This hotel was beyond beautiful and elegant-- the rooms, the front desk staff, the amenities were so lovely. The ambiance was stunning and it had that ultra high end boutique feel...The moment I walked in to my room it smelled so clean and fresh, it was just beyond beautiful (and FLAWLESSLY clean). The staff was so welcoming and helpful! I highly recommend staying here. The location is super central to everything you need. My only little note would be to add robes and slippers :)
