Maria & Osvaldo immediately welcomed me in with kindness and helped me book a whale watching tour for the following day. The place is very clean with comfortable beds, pillows and hot water in the shower.
It’s in a good location with a view of the water, just a ten minute walk from the town. There are also plenty of moto taxis nearby to go wherever you need if you don’t want to walk. Their place is very secure, always locked but they open up quickly when you return.
The breakfast is simple but good, one egg with toast, juice or fruit, coffee or tea. There is also a communal kitchen.
Most importantly, when I got really sea sick from the tour to Isla de la plata, I asked Maria for water and toast and she kindly made me hot tea, toast and lovingly sat with me until I began to feel better. Her and her husband are really good, kind people and I highly recommend staying here when in Puerto Lopez. Osvaldo has great sense of humor :) They also offer laundry service if you need.
