Luis and his family were excellent hosts. He has extensive hotel management experience and his family has been there for generations. If you are interested in learning about the the local cultures and custom he is the best place to start. He really makes you feel like you are family and I will visit him again on my next vacation to Ecuador.

Luis was a gracious and attentive host. Casa de Luis, at Laguna San Pablo, is a great place to stay if you want to be near Otavalo but away from the hustle and bustle. It was delightful to wake up to wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Our host, Luis, is wonderful, extremely helpful, well informed, head of local tourism group. Luis went out of his way to make our stay great. We had several nice dinners at his house. Beautiful view of the lake and volcanoes from the patio on the third floor. I recommend this hotel/home highly.

If you are traveling to Otavalo there is no better place to stay than Casa De Luis on the shores of lake San Pablo. Great home cooking and the owner will make you feel like a member of the family. Be sure to enjoy a candle lit dinner by the fire.

La casa de Luis es muy bonita y muy acogedora. Pudimos estacionarnos dentro de la cochera techada. La vista desde la cocina al lago es muy bonita. Luis es muy amable y nos hizo un upgrade.
