Given the size of this town, this best western performs well above its class. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Attentive housekeeping staff. Drinking water available by bottle complimentary. Breakfast buffet included and is amazing. Plenty of Western and Eastern selections that alternate every other day. We have stayed for a month in Kapurthala and this became our home away from home Dinner service is a la carte mostly (occasional buffet available). Food is not spicy at all and very flavourful. We had a small baby with us so we prefered the larger rooms like *03's or *11's (403 or 511)

From the moment my husband and I stepped into the beautiful lobby, we knew we were in for a good experience but it was manager Mr Rai Negi who truly transformed our stay into an unforgettable experience. Mr Negi has an extraordinary talent for hospitality, operating with a perfect blend of efficiency and genuine care for his guests. High standards are evident across the hotel. We stayed in a light and airy room overlooking the city skyline. The marble bathroom was luxurious with a rainfall shower. A special mention goes to the highly efficient housekeeping team for keeping everything impeccably clean. We highly recommend dining at the in-house restaurant, Café Western. The menu was extensive, the food delicious and the service was friendly. The hotel's lush green lawned garden is a beautiful spot to unwind at the end of day and the large Aura deck on the second floor is an added bonus. Everything felt high-end, yet accessible and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of local shops and restaurants and it is a short car ride to the bazaars. We had an excellent stay. We are already planning our return trip!

Our experience at Best Western Kapurthala has always been truly amazing. We first stayed here during our wedding in 2021, and it has held a special place for us ever since. We also celebrated our daughter's Lohri here and stayed at the hotel during those celebrations. On our recent trip, we stayed for about 1-2 weeks, and once again, the experience was just as great as always. The staff is very well-trained, professional, and consistently attentive, which makes every stay comfortable and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the new GM, who treated us exceptionally well. Their warm hospitality and thoughtful gesture of giving chocolates to our daughters truly made our stay extra special. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming place to stay.

Issues Faced: Wrong Room Allocation On arrival, I was told one room was Deluxe and the other was Superior. Despite paying for two Deluxe rooms, staff claimed “online and offline bookings are different”, which is unacceptable. Excessive Delay After Long Travel I reached the hotel around 8 PM after a 10-hour drive from Gurgaon with my family. Despite prior confirmation, I was made to wait for more than 1 hour before rooms were finally allocated correctly. This delay caused serious inconvenience, especially with a 2-month-old baby and a 4-year-old child. Unprofessional Staff Behavior Staff member Vikrant Duggal handled the situation poorly and was not supportive. No Basic Support for Family Needs Even after informing urgency (baby diaper change), there was no priority given. Late Night Safety Issue Later during the stay, when returning around 5 AM, the hotel gate was closed. No response from staff despite repeated attempts. My wife had to step out and open the gate herself, which is extremely unsafe. Poor Food Quality Food served was undercooked and below acceptable standards. Final Note: Although the correct rooms were eventually provided after 1 hour of stress and argument, the experience was highly unprofessional, exhausting, and not acceptable from a reputed brand
