I was undecided about booking this but all the 5* reviews here convinced me to try it, and it turns out it is really awesome and so I have to leave my own 5* review! Very cool place to stay, amazing location, a unique experience. Will definitely have to try some of the other bridge houses one day! Was able to leave luggage at sister hotel which was super useful, and discount for the maritime museum opposite a nice touch. Could have done with a better method for making coffee was the only very minor negative.

My husband and I were so elated to have stayed here! At first, we were a bit hesitant about the location, however turned out everything was easily accessible by walking distance, especially to the Central Station. The view was breathtaking, facing the Maritime Museum and NEMO Science Museum with ARCAM Museum just next door. We stayed just in time when there were Lights Festival, so we got to enjoy the beautiful light show in Maritime Museum every night. Everything was kept clean and proper, kitchen and bathroom were tidy with some amenities. The room has enough heatings here and there which used to be our main concern at first, but thankfully they have settled it, which made our stay comfortable. Some has noted the issue of privacy, however we had no problem with that as we were able to close the blinds and windows when needed! Sound was also not an issue as the doors were soundproof-ed, they gave us earplugs too just in case which was considerate. One night when we stayed in there was a thunderstorm and we were concerned but the building was sturdy - if that's a concern for you haha! Overall, it was a great experience. A lot of people from outside kept asking us if we were staying here for real which was fun! We will definitely be back to stay in another type of SWEETS Hotel. :-)

My Dutch wife and I had a truly memorable experience here for my birthday. She said that it's even better for Amsterdammers than for tourists to see their home town from a unique perspective. No TV, but who needs it with terrific 360-degree views? Sunset and sunup were marvelous. The bridge opening three times provided extra entertainment. Every time we bike past this location we have pleasant memories. We're still telling our friends, and I bought the book of the bridge houses too. We also appreciated the personal touch of "happy birthday" balloons and a card.

Fabulous quirky accommodation. Very comfortable bed. Lovely and warm. Bit further out of town than I expected, but I didn't know the geography of Amsterdam, so my fault. I ordered the treats box but there was nothing in there that I particularly liked, so I wouldn't chose that again. The hop on hop off boat stopped outside the accommodation, which was useful. I would definitely chose a Bridge House when coming to Amsterdam again.

This was an amazing experience! Even though we live in Amsterdam, it felt like a true vacation. The sweet suite was just right for the two of us, the view was spectacular and the breakfast that was delivered just happened to be from one of our favorite places - delicious. We couldn't have asked for an easier or better staycation. Recommended for locals and tourists alike. Right close to several attractions and neighbourhoods to explore.
