We were a party of 3 adults. We had a beautiful room with two twin beds and a double sofa bed. The room was large and had 3 windows overlooking the sea. The bathroom had a beautiful walk in shower. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and would defiantly recommend it. We had lunch in the hotel too and that was lovely and value for money. Great location

The location and views of the bay from outside the hotel are fantastic. Room was very clean but very noisy due to lots of seagulls in the road at the back. We were given an upstairs room with 2 flights of stairs, 4 if you consider the ones out of and into the hotel, despite me requesting an easy access room as my dog is lame and 14 years old. It was very hot in the room but we couldn't open the window due to the birds. There was a fan but it was too noisy to sleep with it on. The milk in the minibar for our tea and coffee had gone off so our first brew went down the sink. The parking permit for £5 was good value as it lasted from 3pm until 1.30pm the next day. However we had to park quite a walk from the hotel. I would stay again but not with our old dog. The food in the restaurant sounded delicious and my daughter who has stayed before rate it very highly.

All OK - good location. Hotel looks very tired from the outside and inside beginning to look worn but overall a nice hotel in stay in with a good bar area. Breakfast was fairly basic.

I was very impressed by the hotel over all. The location and amenities are great. The breakfast was excellent and represented good value for money, served in a good environment. Our room was small, but the bed was super comfy and the shower was fabulous. I especially liked the mini fridge with real milk in a bottle and good quality coffee and tea. The room was mostly clean and clean in all the important areas, however some attention could be paid to dusting those less obvious areas and the paintwork could be refreshed. Single glazing also meant the seagulls were very loud! Parking is not included, but the system that hotel has in place to provide discounted street parking is a good solution.

We had a lovely stay at Bike and Boot, featuring attentive staff, a clean and spacious room with a great view, a dog-friendly atmosphere, and a hearty breakfast, though offset by a warm room, rattling windows, and disappointing dinner. Room and Comfort Spacious and clean: Room 316 was very tidy, well-equipped, and offered an amazing view of South Beach. Warm and stuffy: The room got quite hot because the windows only open a little bit, and the pedestal fan was not enough (and a little broken!). Noisy windows: Strong winds made the windows rattle at night, though you can fix this quickly by putting a napkin in the frame. Tired pillows: The pillows feel old and need to be replaced soon. Dogs and Atmosphere Very pet-friendly: Our dog had a wonderful time here. Peaceful vibe: Even with many dogs around, it was very quiet and no barking disturbed us. Food and Drink Great breakfast: There is a large choice of food to give you energy for a long day of walking. Disappointing dinner: The Bareca restaurant looks nice and has fast service, but the food lacked flavour and was below average. Overall a wonderful stay and would return but would take my own pillow!

One of the worst night sleep ever. The rooms were far too hot and there was no air conditioning. The only way to cool down the room was to open the window however that meant you had to listen to the entire population of seabirds in Scarborough screaming each other all night long. Lightstreamed under the crack of the door and illuminated the bedroom from the hallway. Someone left their dog in a room opposite which barked incessantly for at least an hour scraping at the door. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

First time we took the dog away and it was a great stay. Clean rooms, dog friendly with grooming facilities which was great after a day at the beach. Location wise, you're at the heart of everything. Free hot drinks and the chocolate cookies were brilliant. We even watch Iron Man in the cinema room. Overall, fully satisfied, yes a little expensive than other options but still glad we chose this venue as the little extra perks are well worth it, free doggy toy on arrival and reduced parking charges, plus the complimentary milk and water. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We love staying at this hotel. The staff are really helpful nothing is too much trouble. The hotel also has some really thoughtful touches like providing rain ponchos for guests heading to shows at the outdoor open air theatre. When we came back from the show we were abit cold so we loved that we could grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the lounge. They are also showing the World Cup at the hotel Cinema. Touches like this make it a really special place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!
