Okay, I'll list the good stuff first. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was an abundant breakfast bar. The rates were competitive. The bed was comfortable. But the room was cold (I complained at the front desk, and was handed a space heater, which suggests this is a frequent problem). There were cobwebs in the corners around the windows. There was no hair dryer, iron or ironing board, or coffee maker in the room -- nor was there a desk or table large enough for my laptop. The lobby was dark, and appeared to under construction. I stayed here many times before, when it was Hotel Linne. The standards have dropped, and it appears they are trying to appeal to different customer base.

The hotel is very cozy with a nice bar/restaurant and outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was quite nice as well. The room was badic but fully fonctional.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, view of the Linneaus garden from the room. Bathroom however was small. Sink was very small. Room had a fridge and microwave but no utensils or plates. 15,min walk from central station and lots of walkable places nearby. Main floor has plenty of space for working, drinking, etc.

Cute and convenient hotel, especially if you need easy access to the university. Breakfast was good, and room fine. Bathroom could have been cleaner: mildew and drain flies didn't make for the most pleasant showering experience.

Very nice place with great staff, easy/walkable activities and sights (the river walk us around the corner). Parking is listed as available, but that's only if you request it "months in advance". Great kitchenette in the rooms, but no utensils, coffee pot, etc... (you can ask at the desk). Very small toilet/ bathroom.

Easy access to the centre of Upsalla, train station within walking distance to hotel. ( 10 mins on foot) Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast, lunch and dinner available too. Bar, games and lovely outside courtyard.

The hotel was very cozy, an open area with reception and breakfast. Beautiful breakfast spread and seating options. Very clever to provide trays for the buffet, made it so much easier to move around and clear the table afterwards.

Average place

The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly if not always terribly efficient. Matresses we're very uncomfortable. Despite our repeated requests, the room wasn't cleaned until the day before the fourth day of a five day stay. All in all, overpriced and not a great value.

Great hotel , very quiet place and good for families .

Caters more to a younger demographic with trendy sayings in English on the walls along with American and British culture and murals in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the outdoor breakfast courtyard. Within walking distance to the train station and Uppsala sights. A little bigger than the small boutique feel.

I loved it! Smooth check-in, free street parking, very comfortable room with a bathroom and even a kitchenette - all for a very affordable price. Would definitely return!

The building was old and had some quirks. Our bathroom door was difficult to open. Overall it was clean. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was good.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay. Great access to Linnaeus museum, University, downtown and local trails. Super awesome breakfast too!

I had an incredible experience at Hotel Botanika! Very nice hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, and I appreciated the sense of humor written on random signs in the hotel. Love the theme!
