Great staff, check in was pleasant. Hotel was well-maintained. Rooms comfortable. Excellent location. When we return to San Sebastián would absolutely consider staying here again.

Very well located hotel, and extremely comfortable.

The property is located on a bluff overlooking the city….that makes walking to the Old Town longer…that is until our last evening when front-desk person let us know about a hotel elevator (why didn’t the check-in person let us know????) that takes a 1/2 kilometer walk away. Room and bathroom were nice though the windowless living room was not useful for us.

This hotel made our San Sebastián trip! We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly & attentive. The decor of the hotel is absolutely incredible, with every attention to detail. It’s about 10 minute walk from the bus station & 10-15 minutes to all the pintxos bars! It comes well equipped with a decent gym, unfortunately we didn’t have time to experience the spa (from all the pintxos eating!). Breakfast was also a highlight, from freshly cooked omelette to basque cheesecake! The rooftop pool & bar had exceptional views 😍 We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Sebastián! 10/10 🌟

We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked this for our honeymoon and when we arrived to the hotel it looked very different to the pictures. The lovely old stone front building is at the back so not at all what it looks like when you get there. All the pictures has big windows with a nice view which was a main reason for booking this however our room had a window 3rd the size,no view and felt like a bunker. We mentioned this to the hotel and they said they would try to find a new one but never did or reached out to us, all we got was two cava coupons. We went to ask everyday and also contacted hotels.com but the hotel refused to give any compensation. The majority of the staff was rude. When we checked out they didn't even ask if we had a good time. The rooftop bar was closed the whole time due to weather although it was sunny a lot of times. The pool was also not open all the time. We really regret staying here

Very clean and spacious room. Reception desk seemed overwhelmed at check out and " too busy" to get our car from the parking facility. The hotel is well located .

The staple of our stay was Jon! He helped us tremendously and really made sure we enjoyed the best food and visited the best areas! The room was clean and the food options were also nice. Don’t miss the sunset on the rooftop!

Hotel was nice and in a good location to the old town, the rooftop bar and pool were a real plus. However being on the first floor I did not appreciate the flood lights outside the window and fact I could hear people checking in and out from reception, plus the mattress needs upgrading. The team were really accommodating especially sorting our cars emissions paperwork and parking was very convenient (at €25 a night).

The hotel is at excellent location! Very clean, spacious rooms, good service and very clean. We enjoyed pur stay at Catalonia Donosti. Recommended
